It's already May 8 here, so I'm back to being an otter too! I like Faris though, I'll make him an alt fursona, since I RP better as a canine rather than a mustelid... sadly.

Also, I lost my copy of the usual profile pic, and I don't feel like drawing the new design atm, so had to use a sketch commission I got some time ago

To answer your question, it's suppose to be a capital gamma with a d subscript; a notation for the dry adiabatic lapse rate (the rate a dry air parcel cools/warms when expanding/compressing in response to ambient pressure changes). If I were really smart, I would have made it a theta, given that's the notation for dry adiabats, but that's what sharpies are for .
