Well, here's a thread to discuss the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Unfortunately, you need to have cable in order to legally watch it in the US, because NBC monopoly of coverage blah blah blah. Maybe I'll be able to watch it at someone's house. =/

Can't you watch it in internet?

I googled on my mobile "NBC Olympics" and it seems that you can watch it with the app.

Wait, what? On my ship, we don't have cable for obvious reasons, we have Direct TV and I've seen at least soccer and volleyball as I walk by the TV's.

Special military exemption I guess.

I'm not a huge sports watcher but I always liked the Olympics. It's fun seeing all these different countries playing all these different sports, many of which never get any limelight!
