Yes, I have, and since Neko started it up (starting GM), he's got a bit more clout for who stays in. In the standard neighborhoods, you can't be kicked out.

I roleplayed once in brittles' first setting. It was fun until we all kind of trailed off to do other things.

I haven't roleplayed since.

How exactly does an RP get violent.

Shouldn't Zander's and Laxan's RP characters explain that?

I wanted to have gratuitous space battles with my character but alas they are but "normal" housepets.

I would like to know this as well.

For a long time I never posted in the RP+FF section. I posted once a few weeks ago as a comment on Two-Twig's fic, and my last two posts were earlier today when I posted my own fic.

I'm scared of RPing because I'm afraid of things I've never done before. :P

when you get two people that hate each other very very much, what tends to eventually happen if they're forced to be around each other enough?

A. Ponies, rainbows, and jellybeans
B. Fights, violence, and removed roleplays
C. Toenails, trees, and missing remote controls
D. All of the above

this will be on the final exam guys

but seriously, i don't read the roleplay to genuinely know the answer, but usually a roleplay gets violent for all the same reasons people get violent in reality, or in video games, or in literature, or in movies . . .

You'd think that my graceful transition to explaining Neko's neighborhood (that isn't at all related to what Zander is mentioning) would be enough of a hint. Apparently NOT.

It was an RP that was violent for the sake of being so. A visceral uprising/revolution story, quite full of blood. Suffice to say it quickly passed the limit so I killed it. I mean, while entertaining at times, it was far too much for this forum, so it was forcibly moved elsewhere.

Saying you were kicked out of the RP is factually incorrect; I'd be guessing you're still in it, but elsewhere on another forum. Now drop this.

This is the case for me as well. I post primarily in the RP&FF forum, but I also read the other 2 forums. It's just that i usually don't have anything to add to most threads, and if I do it's just a small sentence that doesn't contribute in anyway.

Hey, any reply is better than no reply. Mostly. But replying is pretty easy for some topics, wouldn't you say? The COMIC! When I comment on the comic, I often just write the first thing that comes to mind about the comic. Sometimes it can be insightful, most times it's just commentary that could just as easily go in the comments on the front page. :P Finda topic, readit, and say something! We're not strangers here, ya know, it shouldn't be scary to talk! :P

EDIT: You'd be surprised. Sometimes, random thoughts, comments, or tidbits can spark a discussion. Bascially, even if you think it's a single sentence, hey, it might be worth posting.

I mean, look how Ebly posts sometimes. :P
