Our uncle works there. He says they can work there again as per usual. The fires didn't reach the power plants that they normally work at. Sister last year just left for home before the fire started. Uncle was the one that was sent home suddenly due to the fires.

Sorrow: My Dog Oz is missing.

Joy: We marked out the possibility of him being hit by a car as there was only a dead possum on the road.

Sorrow: Turns out someone's been stealing people's dogs around town, horrible news for us since this is a pretty large possibility but it mostly makes me angry than sad.

Sorrow: Also turns out there's a trigger happy nutter who lives somewhere in town who shot one of our neighbors dogs recently, so this isn't good news for us.

Joy: 7 out of the 8 of our neighbors are helping us in the search for him.

the worst part about transitioning from one job to another is that period right in the middle where you barely have any days off because job A wants you to start now and job B wants you to give notice so you have two schedules...

On the up side, the new job will be the same net pay for fewer days a week, so that'll be nice.

Sorrow: Procrastinated in a paper that's due tomorrow. I've basically resigned myself to just passing whatever I've done today. Didn't even reach the minimum number of pages. I won't get a good grade out of it, but since I got pretty high prelim and midterm grades, I'll probably still pass despite that. Still, it leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth knowing I could have done way better...

Joy: My job that has me traveling out of town 4 of 7 days a week is ending this week, so I get to transition to working from home again and being closer to my family!

Sorrow: My nephew has ongoing issues with one of his kidneys, and it flared up on him yesterday. It stinks because he just started with the varsity soccer team and he just had an excellent game on Sunday.

Sorrow: I got one of those fake babies that you need to take care of at school. It's been one day and I just want to get rid of it. It shrills whenever it wants anything and I'm over here struggling to figure out what. It woke me up twice this morning to feed it. But good thing I have it just until Monday.

Sorrow: Not so much a sorrow as just exasperating, first world woes. AT&T gets terrible coverage out here and I'm stuck here for another 7 months. Woo. At least I have wifi in my room.

Sorrow: due to tax issues, my fledgeling game company with my friends has to shut down. at least as a legally declared LLC.

Sorrow: because of this and because we haven't gotten much if anything done on it, we're indefinitely halting production on the game we've been "working on" for over a year.

Slight Joy: we can still do some smaller, faster games in our spare time, we just can't do it full time yet.

Annoyance: this means I'm going to have to get a real job in the near future.

Hope: once we get some experience under our belt in our spare time we can see about restarting the company and finishing our main game.

Joy: Thanks for your kind comments on my nephew -- who is feeling much better. His kidney is probably going to be an ongoing issue with him of various degrees of seriousness though his life, but it's under control. He's got good docs looking after him.

sorrow : my knee injury turned out to be a very bad infection , and after a minor surgery , i can't bend my knee anymore for now , and can't go to work because i can't drive. I just hope it'll heal completely eventually

I mean , it was a deep infection , if left any longer i cold probably have lost a leg entirely , so there's that , i suppose , still....

Sorrow: Seems my besteht friend has changed her cell or something. I cant get a hold of her.

More Sorrow: It seems that i still can not understand girls... Two years ago i met a girl which i met again. She now has a boyfriend. Even though she spent some major time yesterday with me on the Party where we met. Kind of clinging to me. I dont get it. I guess the excuse might be that she was drunk. But still if i was her Bf i wouldnt like that. Not that he realised it or even saw it. But i dont really seem to get behind what she wants or what her intentions where yesterday. Which makes me dizzy and Kind of depressed since im clueless again what is really going on. Which is Kind of annoying since i do like her i guess...

I know what you mean and if what i wrote was everything that happened when we met i wouldnt really think more into that. But since she kissed me back then and really clung to my arm that day and only me. Im not sure what to think.
I guess i will only now if i can build up the courage to ask her though.
Considering that i was never good at something like that and stuff this might be pretty hard. Also i dont want to ruin anything by interpreting more than there is though. Sometimes i wish i was better at that social stuff and reading body language and stuff. But i suck at it.
