No, I don't live in China. I live in the USA. Specifcally Texas. A exchange student brought that disease when traveling to A&M College.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Wait you live in China? If that is so I hope you are very careful.

Joys: My recovery from my nasty sinus infection is going well. Got medicine on Monday after an afternoon doctor visit and taking it that day and Tuesday was enough to alleviate my symptoms to where I could successfully go to my therapy session on Wednesday, which I feel was rather productive.
Sorrows: About an hour ago, an industrial building (news says it was an industrial building) a bit away straight-up exploded. It knocked some stuff over in the house but it did not do any favors for my nerves. Grabbing some water and heading back to sleep now.

Joy: My winterim speech class is over! I'm super happy with my last speech and today I got a great score on the final exam. Those three weeks were way more brutal than I expected. I intend to chill until the spring semester starts. To start, I did some rescue missions in Elite Dangerous.

Really glad that you were able to do that Furrhan! It must have been a very nice experience! Never saw a quoll before though. Looks like a cross between a possum and a gerbil. LOL

I just looked it up. Unfortunately it does look like they are endangered and need some protection. If not things could very easily go bad for them.
So because of that, I am gonna go and seal Furr up in a protective tube to keep all the danger out and him in and alive. XD

We are, unfortunately. Mostly due to competition and predation from feral cats, and from habitat loss.NHWestoN wrote:Handsome little guy. Not an endangered species, is he?

That reminds me of my meeting this creature I took my image here from... I may not have had the entire furry reaction (though maybe still more like it than a typical human) but it was very cool that out of all the people there I kept his attention and he even seemed to like me.

Joy: I've been applying to colleges to transfer to this fall, but I messed up big time. I forgot to get recommendation letters and transcripts, and the deadline for my preferred college is Saturday. Today I got lucky. With the help of my old high school's counselor, I found a way to get the transcripts delivered in time. I also ran across one of my favorite teachers, who eased my nerves that they're working on my recommendation letter. Why am I always getting stuff done at the last second??

Getting stuff done at the last second is the way that I completed an large and downright irresponsible number of my projects, essays, and what-not all through high school and college. I actually managed to get better at making projects at that late a time and started netting B’s and A’s with them.Nathan Kerbonaut wrote:Joy: I've been applying to colleges to transfer to this fall, but I messed up big time. Sorrows: Staying home today and trying to combat the urge that I get to get out of the house every day. It’s this unhealthy feeling I get that, if I don’t get out and do something, I’m not being productive. Doing my best to shake that urge off and convince myself that every day doesn’t have to be productive.

I have that feeling too if I don't get to doing certain tasks that I set for myself which I have to admit are pretty much meaningless in the main scheme of things but I like doing these personal projects and if I can't get to them I feel like a lazy slob.

Crushing sorrow: My aunt who has only been in the hospital for one day and is very sick according to the doctors is now combative and fighting with the doctors and screaming she wants to go home despite the fact that they don't know what is wrong with her. She kept on repeating "I wanna go home" and started getting violent with the nurses.
