Anxiousness: I've decided to take a huge risk, and fight a major fear that's been persisting at me. I don't know what will come of this, but I hope the outcome is great, and I'm not making a mistake...

Joy: I took a huge risk, and scored a date with the guy I think is kinda cute!

Joy: Prom is this weekend! Time for a ladies' night out!
Joy: I have enough money for my trip to see Aaron!! This is really going to happen! *squees*
Joy: This is the last week of my college classes!
Sorrow: Oh man I do not want to finish that English paper. ;_;
Sorrow: Okay so the whole credit card thing didn't work out how I wanted it to. They approved me over the phone and then sent a denial letter in the mail. I've already called them, don't ask. DX
Sorrow: I still haven't heard from State about my financial aid. I called and emailed them this afternoon. I need to know my financial aid package by May 1st, which is barely a week away. D:

Sorrow: My sister quit cooking college. =(

We tried telling her it was a dumb move, but she did it anyway. Says she didn't like the people she worked with there... which is another dumb reason. Now we have to find her a job. I honestly thought she was smarter than that...

Today I woke up at 6:00.

Sorrow: The above statement is a lie. I dreamed that I woke up at 6:00 -_-
Sorrow: I've been getting sleepier and sleepier over time. Even if I go to bed on time I still end up lethargic later in the day. I've started to take Vitamin B again to see if that'll at least keep me through school.

Be sure you're getting to bed on time EVERY NIGHT, WITHOUT FAIL before you start taking anything. If you only get 4.5 hours of sleep a night for 4 days straight, one night of a full 8 hours will not ensure you feel totally energized the next day. I can function for about a week without getting a full nights sleep, but I can't recover in only a day. It'll take me at least one night of 10+ hours of sleep, then for the next three days or so I have to get 7-8 otherwise I'll still feel groggy during the day.

And I wouldn't recommend taking Monster or anything like that. I would think that's actually a bad idea if you don't have the energy because those things don't give you energy, they just make you burn off what little you may have left.

MEGA JOY!!!!! :D .....I mowed both my lawn and neighbors yard, swiped up the mess with an old broom, picked up dog leavings, and attacked my old lawn mower to get it to work....I now can say with confidence that all of the anger that I have had pent up into me for the last few months is now satiated....after all that I took me a nice long warm shower :D I AM SOOOOO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

p.s. (to JeffCvt) i have ADHD.....I need less energy to function correctly i usually meditate or daydream to keep the effects at bay....

p.p.s. Im so happy :D

Sorrow: I can't talk around my dad or sister anymore for fear of them misunderstanding just about anything I say and then telling me how stupid it sounded and how glad they are that nobody was around to hear that. They have been exceedingly rude to me and it has been going too far now.

Sounds like mental abuse... If worst comes to worst then you can call for Johnny Law. I'm hoping that you don't have to resort to that, though... It sucks getting mistreated by others but I can only imagine what it's like when the bullies are your own family.

Thanks so much you guys! And don't worry, this is what I've wanted the most in life, and I'm certainly not going to lose sight of my dreams now!

Joy: College classes are officially over!
Joy: Prom is tomorrow!!
Joy: My school is taking the Top 20 seniors out to a Japanese restaurant on Wednesday for lunch! I've never had it, and I'm excited!
Mixed: The Calculus BC exam is next Wednesday (May 8th). Time to use all this extra time to crack down on the studying.

Joy: Tomorrow (er, today) is the neighborhood-wide garage-sale fest.
Joy: This is the perfect time to find a donor for my new Nerf mod project- probably one of the most ambitious of all time. Basically I want to fit the internals of a Nerf Stampede into a Nerf Firefly. There is going to be a LOT of engineering involved, considering that the Firefly's shell was never meant to hold magazines OR an electronically operated plunger, but I know deep down that I can make it work... somehow
Joy: When we moved into this house, we had no idea what was behind the wall of brambles that made up the back of our backyard. My mom, one recent weekend, cut through a small section of these brambles and happened upon... a treehouse! Sure, most of it's rotted to the ground and so the only thing remaining is the supports that will most likely have to go, but Mom says that once our money situation has improved a bit then I can start building a new one.

Sorrow: That search for the Nerf guns went horribly wrong. I searched >20 garage sales (and I had to go around on a scooter) and found NOTHING. Well, okay, ONE of them were selling Nerf guns but he sold them just as I arrived. -_-
Sorrow: I also hit a pothole while going down a hill and fell off my scooter. It was pretty deep, made my scooter lose stability really fast. I scraped some knuckles and my side, and my knee hurt like crazy. Thankfully I was okay other than that.
Joy: Last night I realized how much I'd improved at Ridge Racer 7- Opus 5, the hardest race in the game as well as a rite of passage to RR glory, took me two weeks to beat the first time I did it.
I decided to play it again last night and beat it after 5 tries. Did it again and I beat it in 3. Did it again and I beat it the first time. O_o

Happy update: That guy is now my boyfriend. X3

Joy: I'm officially enrolled to college!
Sorrow: So many nitpicky errands. For those who haven't hit senior year yet, the beginning of senior year and the end of senior year are the peak busy times, especially if you apply for college as soon as it's possible. I had to wait until the last minute to get my financial aid package and now I'm drowning in required obligations. |D

Joy: I looked at a random guy I thought I knew today. When he saw me, I still couldn't tell if I knew him or not. At this point, I'd expect him to either tell me to Bicycle Repair Man off or be the guy I know. Interestingly enough, neither happened. He wasn't the guy I knew, and we had a very brief chat (6 sentences between us, ending in my finding out I didn't know him). As I left, the random guy told me to have a nice day.

Last time I approached a stranger my age was on a bus. It was kind filled, and my friends were sat close to the back. I tried to get a seat next to that stranger, and he did just tell me to Bicycle Repair Man off, like I was in the wrong for sitting down next to him. Truth be told, he was sitting in that way that took both seats, trying to ensure nobody sat next to him (his mate doing the same thing the seat in front of him). Gotta admit, after that, I kinda stopped liking mostly any stranger.

It wasn't the only time a stranger about my age has done something like that in fairness, but this is the first time in ages I can recall a stranger wishing me a nice day. It's given me back more than a little hope in humanity. :)

Now if we could get some of the payroll back at work so I can have my standard hours back, that'd be perfect. But yeah, I've been spending these past few days happy that I've finally got my crap together.
Sleet wrote:Other than Dissension taking your boyfriend, but eh, what can you do?
He already stole one, isn't that enough? :P

@Aaron- Kids our age (and a little bit younger) are pretty darn obnoxious. They're all bark and no bite, and they grown out of it as they get older. That's why I normally opt for dealing with adults and not teenagers.
