Colorado stands up and unravels the bandaging on the soldiers arm, whipping out a needle and poking around at it, "Alright, I'll need you to sit down for this bit."

"Yes, Dan's been quite the man since our guest arrived. Seems those two get along well enough." He says to Ashleigh as he pulls open a drawer and removes some tweezers, "They've got a little love interest going on, if you ask me." He turns back and sits down next to the now sitting soldier.

"Alright this is going to hurt a bit, nothing you shouldn't be able to handle though." He reassures the guard as he begins picking out bits and pieces of shrapnel, holding the guards arm steady. With a frown he looks up, "Er...scratch that, this ones going to hurt a bit more than the rest, when the bullet entered it hit a bit of bone and curved around a few necessary vessels in a sort of U formation." He opens a drawer next to him and pulls out a needle and fills it with numbing medication, "Depending on how strong your stomach is you might want to not look." A minute or so later, Colorado pulls out his a penlike item and pushes it onto the guards wound and turns it on, a blue light flowing over the bullet hole. "Alright. That should take care of that for now." He pushes a bit of gauze around the hole and wraps it tightly with tape, "Keep that on for a few days, then you can take it. The "light" from this pen speeds up local cell division processes allowing for faster healing. No heavy lifting for a day after taking it off or it could reopen. Otherwise, have fun."

Keeva looked from Colorado to Dan and on to Earnest. Even though she thought he might actually be right... "Um, Dan's just been, like, really great to me and..." She ran out of words and flailed mentally for a few.

Blitz let his golem down and got out after the captain gave the order. He looked around and noticed that Dr. Rain was walking out of his office. The dog followed closely after the Doctor.
Where are you headed, Doctor Rain? he asked.
I'm thinking of having my leg cut off today, but I also want lunch. Perhaps I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone by raiding the medical doctor's candy stash? Dr. Rain speculated.
Nah, lets just raid the cafeteria. Blitz replied.
Oh goody! Perhaps the ■■■■■■ meatloaf will have real beef in it this time. The Doctor replied, showing his distaste for cafeteria food.

Ashleigh's eyes narrowed and scanned down the stowaway. She hesitated for a second, then reluctantly stepped forward to return the handshake.
"Escaped from insignia? By boarding a transporter? That's a new one." She said flatly before turning to Colorado.
"I hope you know what you're doing. Excuse me."

And with that, the cat moved towards the side of the room and leaned against a wall. She took out her pistol and began re-calibrating it, but at the same time, she managed to discreetly open up her communicator and began composing a text message.

Corp, I wish to discuss about that guest you wanted me to meet? Now I'm not questioning your judgement, but I personally do not believe that allowing a stranger; especially one who claims to have affiliations with insignia, walk the halls of the STEELHAVEN. She could be a spy for all we know. I understand that bad timing lead to you making a hasty decision, but I'm hoping that you will put more thought into this matter now that things have settled. -Jnr. Lt. Serge

Corp gave a check to his texted messages whillst talking to the Captain, largely because they tended to display across his helmet visor interior. With a few well aimed thoughts, he sent a message back. Now discussing situation re: Stowaway with Captain. From discussions, girl seems like victim. Not in habit of locking them up but understand concerns. Actually meant guest in the Brig but checking up on other guest was good idea.
Verbally, though, he remained silent.

As Liz walked into the medbay, she quickly spotted the aforementioned cat. So you're the stowaway I heard about. She walked up to her. You escaped from insignia huh? I want your name and story. Did they kidnap you personally, or were you just with their target?

Keeva was a little taken aback by the forthrightness of the human that had just come in. She flinched backwards and sat on the table. "Um," she began, "I'm Keeva. Um, Keeva Storm. They wanted my Dad to work for them so they grabbed me and him, um... months and months ago, I think. They'd send him somewhere and make him work by showing him me." She shook her head and lost some composure. "I don't know where he is!" she wailed, sniffing and feeling tears trickling. "They... they said they didn't need me anymore! They were going to <snf!> use... use a Digital... thing to look like me and... and... kill me so... so... I got a bit of power to... to my arm and got out and ran and ran and ran...". She was almost falling over her words now in her hurry to get them out. "I, um, stole a hover-truck - Dad always said I should repair things before calling a garage - and drove and drove and got into a crate at the port and.... fell asleep.". She shrugged hopelessly. "Woke here. Thought I was there. Thought they'd <SNF> found meas people talked of G...g...golems.". She fell silent, shuddering for breath.

Colorados ears slowly fell back against his head as he listened to her talk about how she got here. "I'm sure your father's alright. I mean, it sounds like he's still on the planet we just left, so there's some good news." He says uneasily, trying to make the situation a bit more positive.

Her visor blipped twice, signifying a reply. Ashleigh was about to leave the room when the commander calmly strode in and began firing questions at Keeva.
After the stowaway finished her story, Ash gathered her thoughts and tried to make an evaluation.
Subject quick to tell her story. Possibly prepared. Reactions seemed genuine, so either the story is true, or she's an outstanding actor. Quick to show emotion. May be attempting to gather sympathy from peers and leave a good impression on the captain...
Her thoughts trailed off as she realised that her other guest, the one she was supposed to meet was waiting for her. Without attracting attention, Ash placed a bug under one of the beds and briskly walked away, headed for the brig.
Tapping into their further conversations may not be ethical, but it's my job to monitor potential criminals... She thought, as she quickened her pace

Colorado watched Ashleigh leave and shook his head, I can smell her sizing Keeva up. I just don't get it, some of the others seem to trust her enough. He shrugs to himself mentally and turns back to the table to work on another injured guard.

Corp kept silent vigil in the Doctor's office, watching the interrogation and keeping his thoughts to himself for now. He knew a story when he heard one and he'd heard one's like this before. In fact it was a normal thing for spies to use. Which is why most of them never used such stories. He didn't believe she was an agent as, based on his research into the history of Robert Storm, she wasn't the sort of person he believed they'd send but there were other ways they could have used her...
"I...I mean," Keeva stammered, "they...they still need Dad so he's safe so... I'm not a coward for running, am I?"

"There, your communicator is set up." Said Mayotte, he had been leading Barry to the cafeteria to show him where the food was, on the way he got Stephens comm set up. "Now I should tell you, until Corp says otherwise, you are on my team, as such, we have a little tradition. he began to explained smiling proudly. "What is that Sir? Asked Barry, "Ah well, the newbies always pay for lunch after a successful First. Er... "Mission"

"You got to be joking."

"Oh no newbie, its how things go. Since it is just you and I, well for doing so well under my watch, I will go easy on you. You should know, this is a good thing, the last newbie. Well he paid for everyone, at an more luxurious area, much more expensive than what you are paying out. He began to happily skip into the lunchroom.

"Well I feel honored then that you are being so kind." Barry remarked in a sarcastic tone, Mayotte didn't seem to notice and just happily smiled "You're welcome, my don't you have better manners than the last dog".

"Ah! I see that this ship isn't carrying anything from my home, alas, I was hoping to have some escargot. Ever had it Barry?

Barry shuddered a bit, trying to hide any more negative reactions, he had eaten escargot before, on a trip to Paris, the rest of the night he spent in his hotel room. Sick, he still felt sick from just the mere mention of the dish. "Not from anywhere authentic".

After both ordering their meals, Mayotte with a cheese burger and fries (which he later complained were cheap imitations and insults to "Fine French Cuisine"). Barry had a plate of spaghetti and meat balls, Mayotte sat down and began to talk, apparently about his own history "Back in the 21st century my ancestor was a General in the air force, since then..."

He was going on about his families history, Barry sat and attempted to look as if he was paying attention, but his mind was thinking about the two intruders, whoever they were. He wondered how connected they were to the insignia attack, normally though, there was always more than two insignia members during an infiltration mission. Or that's what he could remember on what he read about them.

I assume Corp already asked if you had any idea where they kept you, so I won't waste time repeating them. But rest assured. We WILL find your dad. Her communicator buzzed. Ah, the escort ships have arrived. I better get back to the bridge. The station's gonna want to know why we're a few hours early.

Blitz sat next to Barry with his meatloaf.
Have you even had ratatouille before, Dr. Rain? Blitz asked.
It used to be the only French dish I could eat, but this fellow seems to have given me quite the craving for the soup. He replied, not even caring if it was a stew or not.
Blitz began attempting to cut the meatloaf with his fork, but it had been burnt into charcoal by the cook. Eventually, he got a black chunk off and began chewing it as if it was nothing.
So your going straight to the expensive food? Blitz asked when he noticed Barry's spaghetti.

"Of course, Captain," Corp said as Keeva gave Liz a watery smile and thanked her, "I'd still like her to have an ankle tag so we know where she is and we'll have to find her something to do and somewhere to sleep. Can you sort that, Lieutenant?" He asked, looking to Lewis. "I'll go get the tag, then she can be escorted to stores for some clothes." With that, he headed out.

Keeva did her best to stop crying and held on to Dan's handpaw for support.

My dad used to take me to a really nice Italian restaurant when I was younger, after this recent event. I figured it might be nice to eat something familiar. Besides I hardly noticed the price honestly. Said Barry, now looking at Blitz, "Um, I am glad you and the Dr. didn't get hurt, I heard the golems were out there fighting, I thought you were one of the pilots. You are right?

Actually, my squad did not receive permission to fight at the front lines. I just sat in my golem giving a tutorial to a volunteer passenger until it was over. Blitz said. Anyways, what about you? How was your last... Blitz checked the time. Hour? I'm not sure how long that was.

"I thought it was at least 35 minutes." said Barry, thinking about the last few minutes. We had some intruders, acting as crew members. They slipped out of the auditorium, and ran off before I could stop them. But it sounds as if Corp did arrest them, Mayotte was saying a few minutes earlier that a report came up about them. Besides that we guarded one of the entrances into the ship, I think just a secondary entrance. No one got in which is a good thing, I don't want to hurt anyone unless necessary. Though with this job... he trailed off, looking at the rifle he had brought with him, it was next to Mayotte's. He didn't enjoy ever having to take a life, even his training was around doing the best possible at only causing severe wounds, nothing fatal. "Well um, I don't think it will be possible to avoid being safe, I may need to act more harshly."

Corp stopped in the corridor and listened as Rhonkar made her report on the interrogation. After she finished, he spoke. "Further communications on secured channel only, Rhonkar. I'll inform the Captain." With that, he headed for the bridge and stood to the back, waiting for the Captain to finish with the others.

You should also understand that someday you won't have a choice. Insignia is a horrible organization that you should not hold back on. Doctor Rain remarked.

"I could always move to an adjoining room.. Our bags are still packed.." Earnest said, a hint of a smile appearing.

Dan's face grew red. "I-I, Uh.. W-well.." He stammered, flustered.

Colorado looked at Earnest then back to Keeva and Dan and laughed, "This is a big ship, a very big ship. I told you there were children on this ship, that's why I keep lollipops. Kids grow up and parents might not have prepared for that kind of growth. Not all the crates brought aboard are just equipment. At times this is a transfer ship so we carry passengers and what not, I think. I mean they aren't as big as stores on planets, no, that'd be absurd. But they are there. A bit more cozy, y'know?"

As the captain teleported out, Lewis turned to the remaining group. Mr Vanderbilt is quite correct. We have multiple stores, both chain and local, on the ship that sell a variety of items. I myself, am a frequent visitor of the toysrus. He looked at his tablet, which he had somehow managed to hold on to during the crisis, and looked at the database. Once we drop off some of our passengers, we can get you two person room, in case your dad decides to stay once we find him, and supply you with a crew uniform. Of course, to join the crew, we're going to need to get you a job. Do you have any skills or capabilities that might be useful? He realized something and turned to Colorado. Would you happen to have a grape lollipop? They're my favorite.

---meanwhile on the bridge---

As the captain teleported onto the bridge, a large hologram appeared above her, showing a red fox. He looked slightly old, and had a goatee, plus a small scar above his left eye. Miss Walker. Do you mind explaining why you warped here 3 hours ahead of schedule? Admiral Murphy. I'm afraid I have some bad news. We had to leave early because insignia attacked Sevastopol. Murphys eyes slightly widened and his eyebrows raised. You're serious. I'm afraid so. He sighed. This isn't good. Sevastopol was a major trading station. Aside from lost time when ships have to change their paths, insignia now has every item left on that station.

Corp listened as the Captain spoke to the other Captains and smiled inwardly. He didn't give two hoots for the chances of the pair in interrogation when the Captain got to them. The only thing worse for them than the Vicious Rhonkar was this particular Captain... Add that to the location of an Intelligence division base...

Colorado turned around walked back towards his office, pulling open a drawer and sifting through a massive amount of candy to find a single grape lollipop, "Found one! Catch!" A small purple object flies out of the room in a graceful arc towards Lewis.

Absolutely!No. Blitz interrupted the doc.
For one, the meatloaf chef needs to make quick and cheap food that won't cost too much to make, and would therefore be covered by the crew's cafeteria cards. If we start complaining about quality, he could spit in our food next time or raise the price. Blitz explained. He then changed the subject back to Barry.
Hopefully you'll catch them soon. In the meantime, have you been to your work station yet?

Almost as if on cue, Colorado poked his head out of his office holding up a lightish green colored lollipop, "I got these lollipops from a friend of mine who lives in Japan and this one's flavored like grilled potatoes! Anyone want to try it? I've got more!" He shrugs and shuts the door with a foot before walking out back to the group with the lollipop, "The Japanese sure do have some interesting flavors for things."

Dan's jaw was agape. "..Now I'm totally sure he does.." He added flatly, looking from Colorado to the lollipop in his paw. "Yep, totally sure.."

Lewis caught the lollipop and tore off the wrapper before he shoved it in his mouth. That helps a lot since we can never have to many mechanics. Also, please call lieutenant Walker or, in less formal situations, Lewis. He said, his words slightly slurred by the sucker. Also, grilled potato isn't nearly the wierdest candy flavor to come out of Japan. I went to a Japanese smoothie shop on a planet once that had a grilled salmon with cheese and mushrooms flavor.

They've confessed to being part of INSIGNIA, with duties that included patching the 'commander's message to the whole ship. They may answer more to you if you wish to 'meet' them? Oh, before that?" He crossed over to a wall unit and accessed his security details from it, pulling up a picture of an industrial looking area with a large water tower and vehicle tracks leading to and from it before speaking to the Captain in a lower tone so others might not hear. "The vehicle the girl 'borrowed' was taken from was about five miles from here. It's the only place nearby with a water tower she said they had. I believe this is an intelligence base or a holding camp, Captain."

Barry scanned the area, he decided to type into his comm to get a hold of him Mayotte, where did you go? where should I be stationed?

Barry looked up at Blitz and Dr. Rain, "He reminds me of a recruit I knew on the lunar base. I wonder if they are related. So now where are your stations?
