Frankly, surprised with how fast I managed this. Height comparison between Mirage and Macabre's enhanced forms.

Enhanced and handsome...nicely did.

Decided to do a really quick sketch of Macabre and Mirage's parents. I was really tired the day I made this, so all I did was a side view.
Mirage's mother definitely needs more work, pattern-wise.

So, drew up Macabre's father, Halphas. I did originally intend to add shading, but that desire died.

Terrifying...but impeccably dressed; not an easy mix to master!

Thanks! Wanted something proper after hearing a song on YouTube. This is the third song that got involved with Macabre...

Through a specific game, learned that there is apparently some listing of specific demons. Pretty creative, at the very least. This is how he looks in most of those games. That's why I tried to make him look fancy. Added in a bunch of my own design choices as well. Mainly chose not to put in a hat simply because I couldn't figure out how to do it well. It's why I avoid clothing, really.

Decided to make a headshot list of my Celestial/Infernal-based characters.

It literally wasn't until making this that I realized just how many I had.

On a Discord that I'm in (not Housepets-related), the admins decided to change everyone's username to some variant of "Shark." I got "Rocky Shark."

That inspired this.

Mirage and Macabre fusion!

My fursona has fallen into darkness. He is a shadow, my true sel- never mind. All you need to know is that he's stupidly evil and loves flying with his arms folded.

well that, and for the sake of aerodynamics you want as compact a posture as possible. so it's that or arms pinned to his sides.

Mirage and Macabre in mortal forms.

Starting to think I wasn't in the best of conditions when I initially sketched this, as it seems really off. I've tried drawing when I wasn't in the best moods, really doesn't work. Or maybe it's the lack of bones and spikes? Eh.

Also learned that I can't seem to decide on Mirage's muzzle pattern. At least in her base form.

Revamped Oliver's pendant. Made it into a type of flute!

Instead of holes, made buttons.

Finally made a ref sheet for Oliver!

Son of Mirage and Macabre. Pendant he wears was a gift from them.

Agile guy, he spends a lot of his time on perfecting his form in the water. Gets a particular thrill from high dives, though these are his sloppiest maneuvers. So much so that his immortality is all that keeps him going at times.

Has some martial arts training from Mirage, and some music lessons from Macabre, though they're not his main focus.

Can manipulate water in the atmosphere in such a way to allow him to "swim" in the air. In mortal realms, though, this is affected by gravity, so he can't achieve anything like flight.

This has been my stressor for all of yesterday.

Looking really good and adorable so far!

Laurana, mother of Mirage. Being a cobra, she looks intimidating to most people, but she actually has a strong maternal aura to her.

And finished Macabre's mother a few days ago, Gretchen.

She can manipulate the emotions of souls, and indulges in causing them despair with her playing. While Macabre loved the sound of music, he didn't like what he saw his mother do. This was one of the reasons Macabre left the Infernal Plains.

While Halphas at least made the attempt to be a parent to Macabre, as weak as it was, Gretchen couldn't have cared less. This was the second reason Macabre left.

Been playing quite a bit of Skyrim lately, and suddenly felt like drawing sweetrolls.

Along with a red velvet variant.

Really cute drawing Ferret. He looks as benevolent and playful as a cherub.
Wow D-Rock! Gretchen sounds rather terrifying. Her song will make puppets of men. But at least Macabre inherited his musical abilities from her.

Here are some celestial beings of my own.


Jacques the Jackalope (left): a demigod of healing and miracles. He was originally supposed to be a wrathful demigod who would descend from the heavens upon his antlers growing large enough from mortal wars and bloodshed.

Belle the Pegasus (middle): a demigod of dreams and awakening.

Homer the Chimera (right): a demigod(s) of chaos and misdirection.

Really great on them, man! Interesting how much Jacques changed, but I've had changes like that, too. Hares can be pretty vicious when they want to be, so it still would've made sense. Belle has quite the serious look. Somebody you probably wouldn't want to mess with, or nightmares for you. And Homer, well, already saw a bit of him.

And Gretchen can be a scary person. Probably even puts Halphas on edge. Macabre doesn't, on the other hand. Sometimes it's hard to fear someone so uninvolved in your life.

I see. Poor Macabre, though at least he has Mirage in his life.

Yup, leaving home was among the best decisions Macabre made in the end.

And wow, that dude looks intense in this form! Really digging those blade designs, too!

I like Macabre's facial expression. Is he showing his humorous side to Mirage, giving her a chuckle?

He doesn't smile often, but Mirage tends to bring this out, more often than Erin, even.

I really do like the way that they came out! Great job on this!

And finally, Mirage's father, Behemoth.


A jovial guy, he's always bringing life out anywhere he went about. Almost any place he goes becomes much more "festive." While many enjoy his company, he's not one to take too many things seriously, outside of his wife and daughter. That's why he's still a low-tier Celestial. He doesn't mind, though.

So, I recall looking up the "behemoth" after coming across it in the Bible, as the description it had was weird. Apparently there's a few theories as to what it was, including elephants, hippos, and even sauropods. So I had a bit of fun at the last minute of his design.

So this should finally complete the set. Maybe I'll move back to Tails of Babylon stuff? Let's see.
