Great job on how this has came out! Nice job!
Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
But, why Meeko goes away in the third draw? Seems that's not nice play games with those two. Good work, Civilization.

Meeko runs away because last time she mentioned a game, he got a bath...Cesco wrote:But, why Meeko goes away in the third draw? Seems that's not nice play games with those two. Good work, Civilization.
Well, I think I get back into the habit of doing this more often...
It isn't Monopoly, wanted to, but couldn't work out the players...SuperStar wrote:Everyone! Keep you guard up! I sense an enemy Monopoly coming!

You said that Meeko was a she? You mean she's a girl?
Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
Oh, it's not monopoly? What is it then?

Yeah, the 'she' means Felicity.SuperStar wrote:@Amazee, he meant she as in Felicity.
Um, take a guess... I'll have fun with this, there is a reason I used 'That one' repeatedly to hide the players. Look at the board game box and how they split up the teams... If someone is able to guess it, I let them pick who wins... Not much of a prize but I appreciate all of you taking the time to view this so much and this is the only real way of thanking you for that.SuperStar wrote:Oh, it's not monopoly? What is it then?

That makes more sense and I will never be able to guess what the game is.

Scrabble? Snakes & ladders? Trouble? Pictionary? Risk? Clue? Axis and allies? Ummm... that one with the mice and the cheese... the heck was that called? I don't know any other board games.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Wouldve been gone with Risk too. But since Buster already mentioned it im gonna go with ludo.
Another guess would be Check. (But thats not playable with more then two players)
Uhh Settlers of Catan.

Buster did guess it, but that seemed a little unfair... Should I let Buster have it, or do you want to keep going, that list did narrow it down. It's not Risk, or Settlers of Catan...

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
Edited the quote
6v2 suggests that there is at least 6 peices and one side and with 2 then changing sides we have a 4v4 followed by the last 2 to choose resulting in, hopefully, a 5v5 game. I don't think mousetrap works as a 5v5 and I've not played the other two on the list either. Also, although pictionary is a team v team game I don't think it has pieces.Buster wrote:Scrabble?Snakes & ladders?Trouble?Pictionary?Risk?Clue?Axis and allies? Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
I give it to HoundInATree, it was Axis & Allies, your reasoning was sound and close enough... Meeko and Tutter are working alone, Eon and Ion count as one, along with Dexter/Felicity and Alphabites/Argos counting as one. Which makes 5 players, and to make sure it wasn't confused with Trouble I colored the board dark yellow to try and help.

Never heard of that game but then again, I didn't really play board games when I was younger.

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
Yeah no, even teams NEVER happens in that game. Axis & Allies is kinda unbalanced by design. Going by regular rules, you need five players, USA Brittan & Russia on one team, Germany & Japan on the other.HoundInATree wrote:6v2 suggests that there is at least 6 peices and one side and with 2 then changing sides we have a 4v4 followed by the last 2 to choose resulting in, hopefully, a 5v5 game.
Tag-team rules (blame the Internet) are basically the same, except that the players sharing one (or more) of the 5 armies alternate turns. ...Unless Civ isn't referencing that and is doing something else.

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
How is always needing 5 players to play, if you wan't to do it right, complicated? that seems pretty straight forward.

I'm talking about the tag-team rules since the teams would be unbalanced.

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
then you just have pairs sharing an army and alternating turns. that doesn't magically add new factions, just forces people to share.
Also, the teams are always unbalanced. there is no way to ever make them balanced. alternate turn order rules don't change that. it's always 3v2.

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
Everything in the game is pretty much straightforward... It's just taking the time to play, that takes a long time, heh. And sorry for only one picture, I'm running low on important colors and drawing them in the same position 5 times wouldn't help anything.
Well, the best I can give you is a written out, what happened in the game, point of view written out (If you think you could handle that.) or later just show you by drawing some more of what happened after the game... Either way you will find out who won later today.

Yeah I still don't get it. All I know is that the teams are supposed to be unbalanced. Anything else I can't really understand about it. Sorry. X.X

Re: Adventures of the CCCF (A comic)
Well, half the time I don't get it either, but since I play by myself rules don't really matter to me...
Oh, and I'll spare you all the long list of events that happened in the game... Probably would have ticked some people off anyways. I just say Meeko won, not the Allies, Meeko won all by himself.

Sounds like me in strategy games, "I'll just put everything right here."
It works most of the time actually.
