For me, it's the actual time the challenge goes over. I end up losing a few hours before I see the post, another 10 ish from sleep then there's catching up with what happened while I was asleep. Then I can give it a go, by which point I may have to do something else or I'm caught up in something else.
All in all, it's not your fault. It's just the way things panned out. I'd love to be able to participate every time, but life likes to get in the way right now.

Sorry I never posted here. I think it's a nice idea, but I seldom have time to even update my fanfic.
...I know it's super late, but I drew this within the last hour or so after finally seeing this last night. I don't draw that well when rushed (or even when not rushed ), but I think that this came out halfway decent. It's an unhappy drenched budgie ... probably mad because I told him that there wouldn't be any rain that day.
