I make him fight an annoying sentient arcade machine thing. everybody looses!
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I use Busters advanced knowledge of power rangers and super sentai against all of you, bringing every monster to life under my command at giant size, while all the megazords have been destroyed in previous attacks!

I pull your tail, invisibly.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

The Peanut you grabbed is secretly a Thing, which stabs you with its fur and turns you into a Thing. The two of you infect the others, who infect even more others, and the cycle continues until every living thing on the planet is a Thing. Then they start to work on a spaceship.......

Moving rather quickly, I tie you to a railway track, laughing evilly but somehow without sound as this music plays as those in the oncoming train enjoy their fine dining, oblivious to what's on the tracks ahead.
