Packers or Steelers?

Post by Anthroguy101 »

Which team are you rooting for to win Super Bowl XLV? I would also like this to be a poll, please.

Mod Edit: Added poll.

I'm not big into American football, but if I had to choose I'd say Packers.

Is it that time of year again?

I don't really follow sports in general, but I guess I'd pick the Steelers. I just decided to for no apparent reason.

Interesting Question... I am not really a person that follows football but I chose the steelers.

I'm not voting, because I have no opinion, (I don't know the rules of football at all, let alone anything about the professional teams) but if I had to I would choose the Steelers on virtue of the fact that I know what city they're from...

If I had to chose I would pick the Packers, because I'm sick and tired of hearing all the Steeler fans in my area brag, and there's a lot of 'em.

I don't like either team very much, but I like the Packers more than the Steelers.

I actually never thought of that. When it comes to teams I have very little connection to, I usually prefer one for silly reasons like that. Still, I know some ridiculous Steelers fans...

What about Puppy Bowl teams?

In all seriousness though, I think I'll be rooting for the Little Melonheads this year.

you see even though the British are airing the superbowl for the 1st time ever here sport doesn't take my fancy unless it's in auto-mobiles. The only thing I watch on superbowl is the funny adverts that come on youtube about a day or 2 later.

The Super Bowl never aired in the UK before? I would have fully understood that very few people cared, but I figured it was a big enough deal over here that someone would have aired it for one reason or another.

I started voting for the Steelers just before the game started, and it looks like I was right to have changed my mind.
Edit: should have stuck with my first choice. :/

The best part about it was The Black Eyed Peas' show thing, though Usher did kinda mess things up. It was funny when they were singing "Boom Boom Pow" and they couldn't cuss, so they just left gaps in their singing.

By the way, in case you didn't watch, yet you wanna fit in with your peers who did, here's a couple of things you should say/mention:
- The Packers dominated on the first quarter
- The Steelers did better on the third quarter
- I really liked the Breeze commercial that featured Eminem
- There were too many car commercials
- Rothlessburger is really loosing his touch

The game itself was a snoozefest, I pretty much texted my friends who didn't feel like watching the whole time (the last quarter was kind of a cliffhanger though)

You neglected to mention the hilarious Doritos commercials.
