Wild Mass Guessing
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Hey, I like King. He is my second favorite character. I would hate to see him go...

True, but remember there are others willing to do that when the game ends...Alex wrote:I believe the chances are bigger for him to get perma-sodaed than for Pete to turn him back into a human...
Likely outcome of that scenario is as follows:copper wrote:King has gotten too popular, so Rick is going to get rid of him this arc by turning him back into a human and sending him back to jail. Fox will know the truth and visit him in jail once to explain exactly how he feels, and then never talk to him again. Joel will be punished in the worst possible sense in this way.
King: life is meaningless
Fox: scarred for life
Comic: Ruined Forever
Rick: chased by enraged mob
And yes, I DO know sarcasm when I read it.

How would getting rid of King ruin the comic forever? x3

this question is answered above. however, I think he meant that particular method of getting rid of him would cause the comic to get too angsty.Dissension wrote:How would getting rid of King ruin the comic forever? x3

Yeah, that's what I meant.
I am, however, not worried about that actually happening.
I don't know about you, but in the way I just described, it would ruin it for me.Dissension wrote:How would getting rid of King ruin the comic forever? x3

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Well, if King goes away, without Fox ever finding out that he's Joel, than the comic won't be ruined. But if Fox finds out, then 2 big characters will get ruined, and the comic would indeed be ruined. At least for me.
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Hey, its... conspiracy time!
Why does it feel like it has something to do with the recent/future events? (Arc 42:???) The cats (or the ferals?) will find the orb and call it the marubian eye, get overexcited, etc. -> big mess. Also, the factions...
And in the end nothing will change! King will probably stay because half of the plot is about him, and the arc will end with a cliffhanger.

I wonder about that question as well. I can image the popularly is still there, but King will appear more in Fanfiction and Fan art than the actaul comic, if King was to go bye bye.
Then another corgi will appear if King go away.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Here's a weird guess that makes sense to me.
I think that if King leaves the comic, he will be turned into joel and sent to jail. He thinks he will have to serve his sentence, but suddenly a prison guadrd arrives and says that he is free to go and has served his sentence. Joel leaves the prison or whatever, and who is waiting for him to leave, but Pete in his welchman disguise. He tells Joel that he is free to move about, free of the game, and that the pets of Babylon Gardens won't remember King at all. Then Pete gives a final farewell, and leaves joel flabbergasted at what happened, but a better person for it. But that's just crazy...

You're talking about Pete here. He's actually sort of a jerk! He would never, never do that...copper wrote:Here's a weird guess that makes sense to me.

Oh, and Sasha created the universe
the Great Kitsune is her son
When she dies, her spirit escapes and manifests it as her child self once again. She has lost a small amount of intelligence this way.

The main Character? What are you all talking about!? I though everyone knew that Karishad is the main character. He's just doesn't like the spotlight is all.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
I still say Rick is the main character, even though he's not technically a character.
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
That is not King's real Fate. It is the spirit Dragon disguised as Joel's Fate. She learned of Pete's plan and tried to stop it.
If you want evidence, look at the color of that watch thing. It's colors are the same as The Spirit Dragon.

Daisy is actually a highly advanced Robot with artificial intelligence, but her creator died before finishing her speech program. Now she can only say "Hi, I'm Daisy" while her brain yearns to express her real thoughts.
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
If this strip and its alt-text are any indication, Joey might serve as a sort of stand-in for Rick. On occasion, anyway. >_>RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:I still say Rick is the main character, even though he's not technically a character.
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Peanut, Grape and Bino are the only main characters and the only way this story will ever end is when their respective kin in the future take over the Housepets universe with their over-the-top snuggleness.
There, i said it.

I think Diss is gonna make an appearance in the comic and threaten Bino with his chainsaw tail if he doesn't give King the watch!
Edit: then Diss makes Bino leave and everyone is happy! XD

I swear, Peanut and Grape are only imagining this all in their heads, or they're playing a game as Pete, TGK etc. And as we all know, they too play their own characters in the third game. And then the third-game Grape finds out, sees the giant Grape faaar up in the sky and faints.
And then they all fly off on a rainbow.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Bino breaks the watch, releasing King's soul into the ether, and breaking the curse placed on him. King turns into Joel right as King and Fox are talking to Fido. Joel is rearrested, thrown into jail, and charged with the disappearance of King. He knows no one will believe him about The Cosmic Game, so he just denies the charges without offering a defense. Just as the judge is preparing to sentence him, however, the part of his soul released from the watch appears as king to testify on Joel's behalf. An accord is struck, and Joel finishes out his sentence while the other part of him stays as King in Babylon Gardens. When Joel gets out, he adopts "king" and lives in the gardens, much to the chagrin of Fox.
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
She will have to suggest King that she isn't stupid. no other way. King's IQ dropped a lot when he was hit by that watch. *jokes*
Obviously she wants that favor in exchange for her help.
Sasha will take that little favor in exchange for listening to him. And for the watch...he will OWE HER. That means he will get in trouble again, because Sasha is aiming for taking over Babylon Gardens using her mind tricks (what we see in action now) and ruling over all pets and ferals. She is a godfather...godmother...sith lord...whatever.
