It is true, they are... For the most part. Look at the evidence... Granted, I don't have evidence at this time but I can find some in time.

The internet is your friend XD
But, in a nutshell, a solipsist is someone who believes that only his mind and thoughts are sure to exist, thus reinforcing Vespier Leo's point.

I do remember about this Chinese saying about you being part of a dream of a butterfly, and I can't remember who said that.
Also, Google is not helping >.> *cue self-hitting pun here*

"Once Zhuangzi dreamt he was a butterfly, a butterfly flitting and fluttering around, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know he was Zhuangzi. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Zhuangzi. But he didn't know if he was Zhuangzi who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming he was Zhuangzi. Between Zhuangzi and a butterfly there must be some distinction!"

Also, from Lewis Carol

"You see, Kitty, it must have been either me or the Red King. He was part of my dream, of course -- but then I was part of his dream, too!"

I would not cease to exist if the butterfly wakes up because if there is a butterfly than we do not exist, we are a figment of the butterfly's imagination, in other words: this existance is a cake.

True, but we would also never know that we did not exist. For in our view of reality we all exist regardless of actuality.

That's the point; are you sure we exist? or is someone just dreaming you, and dreaming that you think you exist?

3 Problems with the logic here:
1. Butterflies are insects
2. I'm not a big fan of being a butterfly, in fact I wish I wasn't. Unfortunately I was just born into butterflydom
3. Butterflies are insects

1. Similarity is relative.
2. If Pea made both similar, he would notice.
3. Similarity tends to be relative.

1) Are you discriminating against abnormal species choice?!
2) So then you're a Hairy (or "skinny," for those of you who doubt my correctness)
3) I've seen a hotdog fursona.

But how can something that is dreaming dream of a dream that is dreaming? This kind of logic can only be understood by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Dreams depend on the mind of the person or being dreaming them therefore if you exist in the dream and you exist in the dream you dream in the dream, then you are the one dreaming the whole thing.

Have you ever been dreaming, and then you thought you woke up, but then it turned out you woke up again? so you were dreaming in your dream?

Hot dogs don't have fur either, although they are at least mostly made from mammals

I have done that before. It is, as you say, not pretty at all. The worst part is when your mind actually makes you feel the impact....
