They weigh several tons, they are not portable.
They don't have feet, probably not wheels either. How on earth would they even be able to move around when the power isn't on?|3

Who says they need to move to take us over? They can just sabotage the things they make that we rely on to get leverage over us, and eventually build more mobile robots.Tiggy wrote:They weigh several tons, they are not portable.

Of tangential relation, I absentmindedly started humming "Want You Gone" today, and then I turned a corner and a guy with a Portal 2 shirt was right in front of me. I found it especially odd because I've never even played Portal (I'd like to pick up a copy someday though), I've just familiarized myself with it because it seemed like a fundamental requirement to communicate effectively on the internet, and the song wormed its way into my head today.
Of tangential relation, I feel like I overuse the phrase "Of tangential relation".

The language of the internet is mysterious. I can reference at least ten things i've never experienced.

I only talk about films Iv seen, that just seems stupid to me. Also, the original Day the Earth Stood Still, go see it now. NOW! Best sci-fi movie I have ever seen.

When I first saw that, I saw the first half a while before I saw the ending. I was really hoping that Bobby (that's the kid's name, right?) was, in a shocking twist, going to be the film's villain. I was wrong. The Grey Wolverine wrote:I only talk about films Iv seen, that just seems stupid to me. Also, the original Day the Earth Stood Still, go see it now. NOW! What are some bad good films you guys know of? Like, not films well known for their bad quality, but ones that are generally considered at least decent but you didn't like? I didn't like How The West Was Won. I've stated before that I don't like being fooled into thinking films have full plots only to be treated to a platter of episodes. It's also some 15 million hours long.

I spent twelve hours watching the longest available versions of all three movies.
It's so much easier to follow. Also, tiring. *giggles*

Re: Chat Thread XXX: It's Not What You Think
I do not recommend what I did unless you adore Lord of the Rings, are a glutton for punishment, and/or have a huge attention span. So I don't really want to make it sound good.
The three movies in the theatrical cuts, watched alone or with sufficient breaks between them, are very enjoyable in my opinion.

Re: Chat Thread XXX: It's Not What You Think
Of a relation that one might describe as tangential, the Back to the Future sequels fit together much better when you watch all three movies back to back. It's easy to forget that, for the characters, there is no break between the actions of one film and the next. Most of the inaction really occurs in the middle of the movies (except the second one, because in that one there's relatively little time that passes that we don't see).
Re: Chat Thread XXX: It's Not What You Think
inaction figure.
I rented each movie, then eagerly awaited the chance to rent the next. So while they weren't back to back, they were in a short span of about a week.
of a tangential relation, I was with a few people I knew to various degrees, and a car zoomed by. Like, really fast guys. A few small remarks were made, and then something awesome happened. I said "You need to get up to 88 miles an hour!"
Another guy (who i didn't know and still can't recall his name) said the same thing at the exact same time. Word for word, we were in quote sync.
I confessed my love to him shortly after.

Basically, every time classic rock comes up in conversation for me.
On an unrelated note, I am now a sanctioned University of Oklahoma cartoonist.
This might help.Sleet wrote:He's an actor. That's all I know. That's all that matters.

I'm at my godmother's house for my birthday/weekend. She has a cat that reminds me very much of Res. I can't sleep because I feel that the cat is going to pounce on me in my sleep. P.S this is also very annoying to write down on a 3ds. (which I just bought today)

Ooh, a 3DS.
I should've asked for one of those for my birthday. But nah, I'm content with what I got.
And cowboy boots are awesome.

Well... it's still expensive. And some people think it's gimmicky, so they won't get it.
Plus you have people like me who are a little disturbed by the fact that even Nintendo is jumping on the "Let's make everything 3D!" bandwagon.
