I think the sound just broke.
seriously, at 8 tabs it's pretty much silent.

this works better
try 4 or 5 tabs of that

sounds like an orchestra warming up.

since we're talking about video games and VG music remixes and the like, here is a podcast by a forum member about video games. with music remixes. currently streaming live.
they use a bit of language, but they're fairly forum appropriate.
the IRC makes its best attempt to stay appropriate.

I thought you were joking about the muting effect of playing it multiple times, but no, the sounds legitimately start to cancel each other out (or maybe overpower the speakers or something I don't know how sound works in computers).

I noticed it starting to get a bit more musical around three minutes in.

Atmospheric music was always the best. I liked music that tried to implant the feeling of journeys more than anything and i tend to love those the most.

In other news, i tried to get my family for my birthday to watch the Fantastic Mr. Fox since i know they would love it, but they went out afterwards. Hopefully i can get them to watch it tomorrow. We use to watch Disney cartoons everyday, but these days it's Drama (even though Mr. Fox is the most humorous) XD

Ohh no. My brother liked Mr. Fox, but I really disliked it. ^^; It was so fast and headache inducing for me. And nothing ever was resolved. ^^; To be honest, I just found it as a spaz-fest. Which tends to give me headaches.

I'm going to the zoo tomorrow. I'll do my best to avoid telling everyone I'm a local so I don't end up like Miles.

Tomorrow I'm going to be a terrible person and revel in vice so that when I have an average day on Sunday I can say that I improved myself incredibly in the new year.

I liked Fantastic Mr. Fox. Especially as far as children's book adaptations go, it was pretty good, but I can see why it might not be for everyone.

Personally, I trust Jakobs for my revolvers. "Remember, if it took more than one shot, you weren't using a Jakobs!"

I actually enjoyed Fantastic Mr. Fox for a bit of its witty banter, yet I can never say what exactly made me like it. Just sort of did.

I was gonna play Skyrim, until I got an arrow in the knee. (Actually, I have work tonight)

Fortunately, I get off at 11:15, so I can walk outside and look at the New Year without being at work! Either way, I haven't done much else than enjoy my day today.

unless it becomes quite obvious that it's a sure thing. A week before would be a fair amount of time to judge if the world's about to end.

Some people would argue it's already quite obvious, because someone they don't like is in a position of power they don't want them to be.

I can't stand to think that the world would end in 2012. How many false predictions have we had so far about the end of the world? The most notable anyway. There are like hundreds. Its just sad to think that people would want to be right about something like the end :/

And I thought it was the 23rd?

It's the 21st.

I think that every one of these predictions pushes the end of the world back because it can't be predicted.
The Mayans were keeping the world safe until 2012 with their prediction.
of course, didn't scientists figure out that they miscalculated and the end is actually either 60 years ago or 60 years from now?

If I recall correctly (I looked this up some year ago, so I might be misremembering), the significance on the Mayan calendar of the date that we've now estimated to be December 21, 2012 was very little, and just the end of a very long unit of time, rather than the prediction of an event. I can no more accurately claim that the world is going to end on December 21, 2012 because of this than I can claim that the world is going to end midnight tonight because I need to buy a new calendar.

Whatever happens, I really don't want the world to end. it would mean I wasted the last year and a half of my life on going to college with no hope of graduating.

and as long as you don't use the words "give me your money before the end of the world in 2012" and you get it in writing, then it's legal. they just didn't read the fine print.
"can I have all your money before the world ends?" (the world will end eventually)
"sure, here you go. I won't need it."
*signs legally binding document*

fully legal, just morally wrong.
