Hyperjoy: I'm making great progress with my 2DWPU architecture, I managed to squeeze up to 11 MHz from the simulator on my laptop by toolchain optimizations from original 6 MHz with the same code and the automatic parallelism is now working and is completely awesome! ^^ The architecture is capable of automatically distributing the algorithms over more cores, even for very simple ones: a simple 20 instruction algorithm takes 40 cycles to execute with one core, but only 12 cycles with four cores with no additional effort from the programmer! ^^ HURRAY FOR SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE! :3

Joy: I am totally recovered from my depression and hurt.

Sorrow: On the verge of a severe anxiety attack xD Don't know why, but I'll be totally fine in maybe five or ten minutes.

Joy: I've learned how to get myself out of anxiety attacks very quickly.

Funny sorrow: My aunt was all in my face trying to 'help' me get out of an anxiety attack, she was holding my face and was less than an inch away from my face. She made my anxiety attack worse.

Funny thing resulting from that sorrow: I told her 'I can't handle it when people get in my face, back off woman!' She was then apologizing and backing away trying to let me breathe. I found my response, which was just so immediate and random really funny. My cousin, her daughter, was laughing really hard after I said that.

Joy - Was beautiful this morning. A real joy to walk down to the nearby milkbar/cornerstore

Sorrow - More of a annoyance actually. Likely to be a real scorcher today, may even reach 40*C. My aircon isn't good enough to keep my place cool enough so its going to end up uncomfortably warm.

Sorrow - Practically friendless until the 14th when my roommate gets back up here, but I'll figure out something to do socially. Also, he owes me for rent! >:[

you can't be from cali. that's not around the corner at all.

We've gotten quite a bit of rain here, which is awesome, but you can't beat snow

maddening is what it is.
A bunch of my my friends and I were going to organize a sledding excursion to reminisce and see how many people we could injure in one afternoon, but that obviously can't happen.
Unfortunately the weather hasn't been very mild either, so not only is there no snow I'm also freezing my tail off!

Sorrow: My eldest sister doesn't like it. She thinks it's too 'silly' for her. All I know is - it's a sad day when adults can't occasionally let in some whimsy and nostaligic charm into their life.

Sorrow: School will start again tomorrow.

I wish Christmas break was forever.

Joy - New PC!

Sorrow - Even after getting a new PC, I'm in a poor mood. Had my sister over today with her children and my place is horribly equipped to have young children in it. Almost Everything I own is within a 6 year old reach....and she'll most likely be back over tomorrow and at least one more time this week with them....

Joy: Finally watched Fight Club...it was nothing like what I expected, and that was in the films favour. Shocked me from the start by it's interesting, artistic style instead of what I expected (FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!). The ending was just <3

Sorrow that nobody here will understand: Right after the film ended, I remembered something that almost ruined the whole film experience. Almost.

joy: I thought I would have to wait months till the new pokemon movie was released in england but joy of joys it was on tv and now I have it recorded. soon the dvd shall be released and it will be added to my ever growing collection of pokemon movies yay!!!!!!!

Sorrow: Someone who I thought was one of my best friends has just hurt me more than I thought humanly possible. I can't believe how much I'm hurting right now. I'm trying not to sob. He totally crushed me about one of my best friend's deaths. I haven't been this upset since she actually died. I hope he sees this and realizes just how badly he hurt me.
