done?

I will be honest, I am not going to draw Peanut Giggling and pointing.
It reminds me of this old cartoon about car racing (I think it had yogi bear and some other stuff in it)
And it alway had this really annoying dog grinning and point laughing in every episode.

They are still very based off Rick's work :).
As for suggestions, I think the next thing i am going to "try" and make, is Maxxwell sleeping against the red blanket, and Tarrot, Peanut and grape on top / next to him.

Me being a bit 'attention-to-detail'-y here, but Kyderra, both Peanut's and Grape's tags are meant to be attached to their collars by 'dots'. I see no dots.

Otherwise it's really cute!

Haha, a boater :D.

I really like the coloring and shading.
Your Refur Project really pays off in that aspect.
bollythewolf wrote:... "both Peanut's and Grape's tags are meant to be attached to their collars by 'dots'. I see no dots."
None of the more recent strips have the little dots attaching the tags to the collar.
It is really up to design preference anyways. Doesn't have to be just like Rick's style.

I wonder where Abrr2000 went. I was really looking forward to the next fan strip =(.
I haven't done anything on this comic for months, so maybe I can do a fill in.
Needs MOAR KING :D!

I hate no idea how to put 2 cats and 2 dogs in one sleep position ,
... this might need to tactical twister idea's.

that, or as GameCobra suggested, make 2/3 of them watch T.V while max sleeps.

The dogs have a more outward muzzle and defined nose. Fox looks a bit too much like a cat in this one =P.
A good example would be the sketch you made of Peanut.
That aside, I really do like your self-taught art style.

Nice job =D!

nice, your outlining is basically the same as mine. :)
the only thing I do after that is erase the pointed outlining (witch gives a tight brush effect)
(I work with the size of 3000X3000 and a brush size of 9pxl)

you can try it if you got time, it open a world for me.

Yeah, I did that with some of my previous work, but decided it was too time consuming here, it took me a day just to get the lines perfectly the way i wanted them.

Also i always wondered, do you do like me and draw them out, scan them, then outline them?

What tool do you use to get those lines so perfectly straight?
I do everything by hand on my tablet and a slight twitch means a bumpy line.

Also, I'd be willing to help with a few of those requests.
It sounds like it would be fun =P.

Same as you, Photoshop Cs2 with a Medion tabled (no pen pressure)
they are not perfidy straight with me, but.
Almost every line should be try with one flick of the wrist.

The red lines are what fly by with a eraser

Oh, that's what I do when penning, but my tablet is large so I can't just do that for really long lines.
I was just interested in how Zander does his penning since it seems tool aided ;).
That's an interesting coloring tutorial by the way. Photoshop has a lot of seemingly hidden features that are awesome .

EDIT: The pen pressure feature makes the lines sharp, so that erasing step is bypassed.

also, pen pressure is (Photoshop) done by pressing F5 and selecting <shape dynamics>

I was referring to the feature most modern tablets have where the amount of pressure you apply with the pen makes the lines thicker or thinner.
So if you apply less pressure as you finish a line, you end up with a sharp point :D.

Was the pen tool used for the whole drawing? I can't make that tool do anything .
It is just that I noticed all of the pen lines, even the curves, are a series of connected straight lines.

Guessing by his art, he does not use the "Shift+click" way of doing it, which makes strait lines between clicks, its more cleaning up but the skethcing is better.
