Arc 52: What Money Buys
Whose pen do they think it is? It probably was the chicken pen until Karishad found his way in.

Re: Arc 52: What Money Buys
How in the world is he still there? You know what forget I’m going to file this one under plot convenience and call it a day. Though I’m glad that Keene stuff actually went somewhere and wasn’t completely pointless.

To nitpick, we don't know whether Keene is still at the zoo, we just know his phone is.IceKitsune wrote:How in the world is he still there?

Re: Arc 52: What Money Buys
Even if hes not still at the Zoo it doesn't really matter. My thing is nobody noticed he was gone or called him in what must have been at least 3 maybe 4 months? If this arc had been set right after Holiday at the Zoo (and with what appears to be no snow on the ground it isn't) it would make sense but the time in-between is a bit hard to justify. But what ever it's silly and a bit stupid but not really that big of a deal.CaptainPea wrote:Walls and gates can contain Keene I'd imagine.IceKitsune wrote:How in the world is he still there?

Oh, Karishad. You so funneh.
Also: cartoon logic. Sometimes it's best to just not question it.

the ferrets aren't the type to think of that kind of thing, it doesn't seem odd to me. Jeeves may have just been ignoring Keene because he gets mistreated, so he'd know where he is.IceKitsune wrote:Even if hes not still at the Zoo it doesn't really matter. only thing weird to me is that Mr. Steward should have known if Keene never showed up in Florida.

Re: Arc 52: What Money Buys
I saw the Ferrets as a bit air headed and full of them selves maybe, but not completely oblivious to their surroundings. However lets assume that's the case (which for this arc to work it actually would have to be) that would make Jeeves just as, if not more, oblivious as the Ferrets as its his job to take care of them; and if he knows that Keene is at the Zoo and didn't get him in 3-4 months that makes him a rather HUGE jerk. I mean maybe he thought that Keene needed some humbling but 3 to 4 months is really over doing it IMO.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote: the ferrets aren't the type to think of that kind of thing, it doesn't seem odd to me. And then there is now another reason why this doesn't make sense no one contacted them when he didn't show up in Florida either.
Re: Arc 52: What Money Buys
Hmmm this should turn out interesting. A lot of good drama and some awesome comedic moments might come from this! Yes. I am being generic for a reason.
Wonder if all of the ferrets will get stuck in the Zoo now...
You know, I was wondering, I thought Zoo animals were just there on contract and could leave if they liked. Couldn't Keene have just asked to go back to wherever they thought he came from and then let some non-zoo personnel know who he is?

"Meanwhile, back in the Ferretcave..."
I love that they have their own little command center! I guess it all that money at work. Batman could only do most of his super hero work because of being rich!
Even with in the story, Keene has been there a long time! He was there before it snowed so I guess he spent most of the winter there! His brothers and sister must have thought he spent it in Rome or Paris.

wouldn't it be interesting if all ferrests went to the zoo and were caged, leaving no one to back up the wolves?

People move from thread to thread. Fourm threads are never going to be as fluid as chatrooms. Oh fun. Kari's moving up in this world.
It seems Keene respects cleverness.
or he knows that working for him is not a pleasant experience.

Re: Arc 52: What Money Buys
I'd say it's likely a mix of fear of Karishad and a desire to inflict that fear upon others.

So Kari is moving on up.... Is the Milton Mansion on the East side of town? Please say it is....
Hmm,Keene is at least sane. At least, I think he is.
Those zoo people sure were a lot nicer to Rock than Keene...

Rock is the iron-willed movie producer. First lesson in journalism school: act like you have every right to be where you are, doing what you are and nobody will question it. Of course, Rock's a ferret and not necessarily a journalist. *shrugs*

Just asking, is this Karishad based on someone in RL?

The real Karishad, not the character. It's complicated, there are some committees involved.Sinder wrote:Karishad is a vulpine composite of 183 serial killers
Anyways, I like that every time the ferrets appear they become more of individual characters rather than a clump. Maybe it's just us getting to know them better, I dunno.
