Speak for yourself; we still have about a quarter of the year left.
We're past the peak, at least.

Snow could only make a four day difference, but still it's more fun to get days off in the middle of the year unannounced than it is to keep one day to the summer which will in the long run go unnoticed.

I got a quarter left too.

But after the first three, one is going to go by before you know it.

So guys, those kids who were in the car crash are stable, but I have terrible news, the boy Brendan is in a drug induced coma in critical condition, the girl Eva has brain damage, Aliza has spinal damage, the driver Monica has severe facial lacerations but otherwise is okay. There was a mass held today to prey for them to be alright, all the pews were filled, as was the balcony, the stairs, the entrance way, there were people near where I was, 4th row from the back, because the rest of the church was filled to capacity. First time I have been to church in, three or four years.

I'm not terribly excited to take college classes in the summer. Everything is condensed because there isn't as many weeks for classes, so they go faster.

There are summer semesters in most colleges if I'm not mistaken. I would be taking my last three prerequisites; an algebra course, a programming course, and a writing course.

After I complete those, I can move on to my major.

Oh I'm looking forward to that class, writing won't be that bad either.

I hate math though, with a burning passion. There has never been anything else on this world that has made me feel as stupid as math does.

Good luck with those three classes! I'm only taking two summer classes. One is pretty easy, the other well... at least it's what I want to learn!

DERAILING THREAD CONVERSATION TOPIC FOR GREAT JUSTICE
So this is going on
If you're not reading gunnerkrigg court then there's no need to have to choose BUT
BASICALLY
GC could use the attention more than Homestuck
and GC is pretty much the best comic
and Tom has recently started making GC FULL TIME and this would be a great push
and man you just need to vote for GC. You can probably read through the archives in one day
Andrew Hussie himself said that it was a good comic and that people should vote for it
ok this has bee a public service announcement I'm leaving now we were talking about classes or something I think

I'm taking my mandatory tech credit this summer online. And supposedly the tech credit's curriculum is mostly about how to turn on computers and use Microsoft Word, so I feel like being able to access the class should in itself get me the credits.

It's gonna be a bit of a waste of time, but I'd rather waste six weeks than a whole year on it.

Sounds better suited for the webcomics thread, broboken.

I don't read either
But I've probably read proportionally much more of Gunnerkrig than I have of Homestuck

Also I can't see that page; it appears to be flooded with visitors... mission accomplished?

I'm taking 8 credits this summer, but it'll be on a study abroad in Amsterdam so I'm not really complaining.

We can talk about any topic in this thread as long as it doesn't go too far, because the conversation will probably change.
or something like that.

I stand by saying that you would really enjoy it. I read everything Tom says in basically the same voice as you
you're twins I think.

My penmanship is awful but I'm going to be a doctor so I have to write horribly.

I've always been complimented on my penmanship. People tell me I write 'like a girl', which I'm pretty sure is a good thing.

The only problem is that I never learned to write properly, so I have a weird way of holding pencils/pens that has given me a signature bump on the end of my left pinky finger for the last 15 years or so. It's only a problem if I write for more than about a half hour at a time (i.e. Every day in classes), but my hands cramp up pretty easily.

It's also a problem because I write ridiculously slowly (hence the relatively good penmanship). :c

So, yeah. I much prefer to type things when I can. Being able to type over 60wpm helps too.

Handwriting was never an issue for me, either. Some have even envied me for my inability to write sloppy.
But I will admit I do hold my pencil in a weird fashion. It's like the normal way, only my index finger is farther up the pencil near the eraser.

Your notes can't be THAT bad. Can they?
My notes from history are just commentary on the teacher and the class in general when she tells me to stop SAYING the commentary out loud, and write my notes. And yet, I get 90s on tests, go figure :/.
