Ehehehehe
For it being the most common male voice, it's a little odd being the only person coming out and saying they're a baritone. Though, I can reach bass notes.

I do have a two-octave range, so I could sing one part and then another one a full octave up.

I connect a lot of the aspects of this comic to "Lonely Road," by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

I also have a voice that is very low. It is possible that I won't be able to do some parts of the song. Unfortunately, I can't even try because I do not have a microphone at present.

So what does that post add to all of th--
Okay, no, I'm not that mean.

Well, at the moment, nothing. I'm pretty sure this isn't that high up of a priority for Buck, he does lead a pretty busy life. And editing us all together, making sure we're going at the same speed, and all that would be insanely difficult, so personally I don't think each member singing a 'part' would really be appropriate...

Personally, I was just saying that I can if needed. :P

Some of it?

I figured out how to play it all on the piano and the violin.

Did the same with the Chocobo song. (I just liked the Chocobo song a lot. Sneaky might have something to do with this.)

So I can basically play both songs at will.

Kinda happens when you listen to a song over 100 times to sync lyrics to the sounds.

Speaking of which, the new Lyrics! [Proposed Character parts are in brackets]

We are the pets, yet we're a little bit strange [entire cast]
Why don't you give us a moment just to let us explain. [entire cast]
We're just simple Housepets, although different today, [entire cast]
But we are much more exiting over any other pet you'll ever know! [entire cast]

We walk, we talk! [dog #1]
(We walk, we talk!) [dog #2, cat #1+2]
Can you believe it? [dog #1] (No you can't!), [dog #2 and cat#1+2]
We do a-many things that ordinary pets could never do! [cat #2]
We're quite easy to care for; [dog #2]
Fun to have around the house, [cat #2]
And if you get a cat you'll never ever have to worry 'bout the mouse!... [cat#1]

Let me give you an example, [dog #1]
Of the crazy we can be! [dog #1]
A place called Babylon Gardens; [cat #1]
Neighborhood that is pet friendly [cat #1]
And every single person 'round here happens to have one of us. [cat#2]
And we're all very friendly [dog #2]
So here, let us introduce you to us! [dog 1+2, cat 1+2]

First there is Grape Jelly, a lazy, creative cat; [cat #2]
And next there's Peanut Butter, good natured and happy-go-lucky [dog #2]
Bino is the leader, or well, he attempts to be one [Grape]
Fido's a police dog, and also the perfect companion [Peanut]
Fox an' Rex an' Joey, Marvin an' Zach, Tiger Maxwell [Fido]
Miles and the wolf pack, Tarot Sabrina Milton ferrets [Bino]
Sasha King and Daisy, and Spo and Squeak; too many to call! [Maxwell]
So many pets here, it's quite impossible to name them all! [dog 1+2, cat 1+2]

We're Housepets! [Main Chars] (Yeah, we are the Housepets!) [entire cast]
We're cuddly, fluffy and got personalities! [Zach]
We make perfect friends, for just about anyone [Sabrina]
And remember that the best part is we're always fun!... [Joey]

[Deleted portion]

Well we get into, quite crazy things; [Sasha]
Got our own clubs and have meetings! [Bino]
We're very smart, [Fox] without a clue [Grape]
The silly things that we will do! [Peanut]
Housepets are here, they're here to stay! [Maxwell]
Why don't you adopt us today? [Tiger]
Housepets are here, now sit and stay, [Grape+Peanut]
It's time to have some fun and play! [Grape+Peanut]

Oh, man, no sooner do I get used to the old version of the song than it changes? :o

I guess the new version hasn't been recorded yet, then? (I'm new here, that's why I'm asking so many questions....) I'd really like to listen to it when it has....

That's okay, I still have the old version to listen to in the meantime, and now I know where to find the lyrics to that version. ;)

Yeah...that is in fact, the latest version that I have. Also, I think that's the best sounding one I have.

I'm really annoyed because I don't have a quality that doesn't have a wall of static getting in the way. It works for games, but not for recording things. I have a USB mic, but the quality sucks.

...crap, I just realized. How the heck am I going to do this kind of stuff when I'm in a college dorm? Ack!

Hey you guys! I sorta am starting a theme song on all the characters of the comic. Mostly instrumentals tho.

I did a short preview on Sasha's Theme. Do check it out and lemme know what ya think. Me and Icharus will be collaborating to finalizing the progression and stuff.

Cheers ;)

Heyo~! Guys!

I'm planning on taking Buck's lyrics and putting them to an original tune. Felt as if it was neccessary (got his OK on it). I'd like to know first, however, what kind of music you guys want. I can do jazz, rock, techno, classical-ish, polka, swing, or some mixed genre. (or if ya have another suggestion, that's cool too) Which one do ya think would be best?

Well, I thought the first tune, while not perfect, had the appropriate tone and feel to it--something like a Saturday morning cartoon might have. You know, almost "kiddie" without being music box type stuff.

The new tune should have that same feel, if not be the actual same tune.

I think it'll sound cool if it was something like power rangers (the older themes, not the newer ones). Cheesy, but catchy and still has a guitar in there. Of course, I like the idea of a kiddie show just as much. :)

The moment I saw what game it was from, I knew it'd be epic. Still this sounds a little, I don't know, sad for Sasha. I mean, she never acts sad to say the least...if anything she's one of the happiest characters in housepets. Still, it works well considering what we know/believe about Sasha'a background.

Hehe, power rangers... that probabl wouldn't sound too good with the tools I have at the moment (the guitarist I know.... eh... xD), so I think the kiddy song will have to do. I'll just finish with "Sonata in D Minor" (yes that one XD) and get started.

Yes, that's what I was thinking to begin with. Although, MOST "kiddie" stuff nowadays has taken on a rock tone (see, Phineas and Ferb). I'll try my best though ^^

Kidding aside, yes, I've noticed, and I don't like that being the case for ALL of them....

I mean more like Pound Puppies and such....

It wasn't a great show but that's more the kind of style that I think is suited to this comic. Not the exact tune but the STYLE, you know?

That or Garfield and Friends (the original--"Friends are there...." type thing, only probably slower....)
