Re: 2013/05/06 - Pew Pew Pew
I have been hoping this entire time that Karishad was made the Wedding Planner.
Now wait, Tom Bergeron AFV or Bob Saget AFV? Cause those are the only good ones.
I want to see that guest list now...

Karishad will be the minister!
Hahaha everyone is calling for chaos from each corner: police dogs vs wolves; Bino; Duchess; Tarot; The Cosmic nerds, and now Karishad. This is going to be a disasterdate wedding. Who else hasn't been counted yet? Falstaff and Truck? The Opener of Ways and the woodland critters? Grape?

Why is King's Collar so Huge XD.
Re: 2013/05/06 - Pew Pew Pew
It looks bigger when someone's standing next to him who is actually smaller than him.

I don't think it's the collar that's big, I think it's King that's small.

And an even worst scenario is Bailey's old family shows up, and then Pete shows up, then they run out of cake.
Re: 2013/05/06 - Pew Pew Pew
You know, it's probably a good thing I'm not writing this comic, because at least half the time I'd not be able to resist the temptation to throw in stuff to deliberately mess with the audience, especially for things where a majority of them seem to agree on something.
Re: 2013/05/06 - Pew Pew Pew
Well, I think he doesn't it so often because he already has prepared the next comics even before people comment about the current one. Though he surely messes with people occasionally. It is understandable since probably no author wants to be predictable in what he does.Nohbody wrote:You know, it's probably a good thing I'm not writing this comic, because at least half the time I'd not be able to resist the temptation to throw in stuff to deliberately mess with the audience, especially for things where a majority of them seem to agree on something.
Specifically I can remember this cases:
https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/07/ ... s-too-far/
https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/08/ ... t-it-much/
https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/09/ ... otherwise/
Of course that's only what I can remember, but he surely did it more times. IIRC, similar situations happened during the "Not all dogs" arc; "The great water balloon war"; "The mall"; "Let's imaginate Guys and Dolls"; and "The unbearable lightness of being a dog" arc.
Besides, what are you trying to say? You don't want something big to happen? You are boring, man . Of course no one is saying that we want to see King suffer, but it's not crazy at all to think that we want to see something spectacular than just routine once in a while.

Don't forget Bat-Bat. Which was so sneaky even Rick didn't notice!
If this was my comic, at least one of the ferrets would have tried to emulate Bruce Wayne by now.

The last time I thought something like that, you had to run off the whole thing on a mimeograph machine. Oh, and Joey should be an usher. He would probably do anything to get away with wearing a bow tie. Bowties are cool. And a top hat... Top hats are cool. Stetsons are cool too, but not really right for this wedding.

I get it, they live in trees and are classed as rodents. Maybe the wedding is secretly in Pete's Temple or one of the others? Those interior changes can be made I guess.

Re: 2013/05/06 - Pew Pew Pew
Well so you know, Mistmantle is a series about a squirrel named Urchin, who lives on an island named Mistmantle. Mistmantle is shrouded in a special mist- those who are born on the island and leave the island by boat, cannot return again. In the first book, his mentor, Crispin, is exiled (for reasons that would spoil the book) through the mists, and lands on an island inhabited by swans. The lead swan (who is named Lord Arcneck) always refers to Crispin and other squirrels as "tree rats."RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:considering I have no idea what that is, I do believe you've gone mad =P
For some reason there are five books but I've only known about three until just now...
So that's where I drew my conclusion from. There's more on the series here if you want to check it out.
