After so many predictions, parties to do and yadda yadda, I'm starting to wonder how long this arc would be? Maybe even longer than "imaginate, too!"

Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
Okay people, now you are scaring me XD
A curious thing is if Sabrina really catch the bouquet maybe their secret would be revealed, most probably by mistake of Peanut or King. I put my bet on King if this actually happens because, first of all, this is his arc, and besides, since he was human before, he probably couldn't care less this inter-species relationship (and maybe he even find it cute XD). Furthermore it would be hypocrite of him if he has something against this since his relationship with Bailey can be considered of the same kind.

catching the bouquet doesn't even require that you love anyone. It could be you want to catch it to meet a nice guy who you're going to marry.

Because Bailey is owned by Mr. Lindberg, and Mr. Lindberg is a cop, and Fido is a cop, and Fido is coming, and Joey is Fido's brother, so Joey must be coming too, and Peanut is Joey's friend, and Tarot is Peanut's girlfriend.Gren wrote:And why you suppose she will be invited?
Oh, and then there's the fact that since Sabrina's going to the wedding, I wouldn't doubt that she'd invite her teacher...

Besides, Bailey is not the only responsible of invitations, and King, knowing her better, will add Tarot on his blacklist (same with Bino and Duchess).

Maybe King's soul is now a Corgi, since he is one. As for his memory. Maybe he still remembers his human memories, and he's trying to forget all the bad things he's done.

Depending on how you define "soul," I'm not sure there's much difference between the two. Animals think and reason very similarly to humans in this world. The only things that are different are the bodies and the instincts. So I imagine if they have puppies, they'd be normal dogs (by Housepets! standards).

I am guessing this is the point Pete strikes ( https://www.housepetscomic.com/2012/06/ ... year-four/ ) cos' he is clearly being malevolent or just a plain jerk.
And I am guessing that with the marriage King is fully a corgi now, though I am not sure whether this can change depending on how pear-shaped things go. Given he isn't being strung about like a puppet now (first by PETA then Pete) I would say he has gotten over the guilt for his past actions and is starting a new life, as he no longer shows his inner thoughts like he did in Kansas.

As happy as I am for the wedding, doesn't this mean that Pete gets more points in the game?
And... I've been wondering... are glomps exclusively from behind? And tackle hugs from the front? Or are they all tackle hugs and glomps are just tackle hugs from the back (like the every square is a rectangle thing)?

Why you try to complicate things? A soul is a soul, nothing else. The only problem was if his soul should remain in dog heaven or in human heaven, but that's only depends of King's decision. Seriously guys, why you think he is a totally different person now just because he's in another body?RioluNation wrote:Maybe King's soul is now a Corgi, since he is one. As for his memory. Now that I think of it, Tarot is the only character of the main cast we haven't seen in housepets 3.0 style yet. Hope we can see her soon.

Will the wolves and police dogs cause the chaos in the wedding? Will Pete interfere the wedding? What is the real plan of Keene? What will he do with that shiny orb of mana? Is Bailey still alive after that crushing hug from Sasha? Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
Likely because we know how manipulative the spirits can be, how determined Pete was in trying to make King his avatar, and that the wedding is a huge moment in King's/Joel's life. It's not entirely unfounded. But I'll admit, this is something that we'll have to wait and see about.Sleet wrote:I really think people overestimate how many appearances Pete is going to make in this comic... <.<

Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
While you guys have your heads in the cosmos, I'm turning my focus on a threat that exists down on Earth... those that believe that pets should always be subordinates, and should never have any of the rights that humans do. Anti-equalists. I feel that they are the real danger to this wedding.
I'm sure they exist. And since Keene Milton is behind this, there'd have to be some media coverage of the wedding. So they'd notice. And they'd come. Something is going to go horribly wrong, and it will not be the doings of Pete. A drop of poison finds its way into the cake. Or, maybe, someone comes in uninvited, and pulls a gun. Or two. Or three. A tear gas attack? Sniper assassins? Who KNOWS what could happen?! So many things could go wrong due to these people and yet you completely disregard them.

Given the nature of the comic, none of the scenarios you suggest are particularly likely.

I agree. This is one of the few comics where a trickster god attack is far more likely than killer humans.Dissension wrote:Given the nature of the comic, none of the scenarios you suggest are particularly likely.
Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
Maybe Keene can use the emotions of the wedding to activate that ball of mana?
Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
I think Pete will not have a big appearance in this arc since he's forbidden to enter into the arena. However, now that King will fully accept being a dog, it's more likely that Pete will trick him somehow (probably with the help of Keene) into accept to be his avatar.
For the wedding, everything will go as planned, except maybe for a futile attempt of Tarot or Sabrina (or Zach) to warn King of Pete's plans.
If there's any chaos in this arc it's more likely will have to do with the guests than the Cosmic nerds.

I think Keene uses it to alter the public opinion about equality between humans and pets, and also to manipulate the media (though that would be more easy giving them money XD)Argent wrote:Maybe Keene can use the emotions of the wedding to activate that ball of mana?

Re: 2013/05/10 - Vow-olation
Even so, there are other ways they can disrupt the wedding. Example: A protest- maybe they even keep King or Bailey from getting into the chapel. Or they do something like destroy the ring, or lock King or Bailey (or both) in a closet, or other things.Dissension wrote:Given the nature of the comic, none of the scenarios you suggest are particularly likely.
And I agree with Argent's theory as well- that ball of mana has some sort of trigger, and emotion seems like a likely one. The question is, which one will activate the Mana, and what effect will the emotion have on the Mana's function?

I can see Bino or Tarot being invited by the Milton Ferrets just because.... it is highly unlikely, but you never know with those little mustelids.
