Just having it implied to him that he'll be turned into a human in a year may be enough discontentment. If Bailey is taken from him, King would probably agree to be turned back into a human and tell Pete what he can go do with himself. And Pete doesn't want that: a human can't be his avatar.

Man, I pray to Santa's white beard that Tarot saves King's wedding. (And she's there as well. Thank goodness for that). Knowing that Pete could show up and ruin it at any given notice.

Actually, it's been explicitly said that Pete can't directly interfere anymore until he has an avatar on the field. Pete even said that he wasn't "really" there talking to King a couple of strips ago. So apart from that revelation, Pete can't do anything about the wedding itself.

You and me both, believe me. I really hope king reveals himself soon, if only to relieve the pressure of the situation and finally bring the terrible things he's feeling about what he accidentally did to his best friend to a close.

Um. I'm pretty sure kidnapping Fox wasn't an accident. It was basically both "on purpose" and "the plan," which precludes being an "accident."

Okay, maybe "accident" is the wrong word, but King (as Joel) spent a lot of the time arguing against it, and ultimately only went along with it because of his rage toward other animals. In the end, he even gave up on running from the police because he knew that it wouldn't do him any good.

"Accidentally" might not be quite right, but perhaps "reluctantly," would be a little more accurate!

I would agree "reluctance" accurately describes Joel's thoughts toward the PeTA plot!

Actually, I'm thinking that's the mixboard for the recording crew. It looks temporary, and church organs are usually permanently installed.

I think that's Rodney in the back with a third cub. Bathroom break? =P

Now what I like about this is that so many characters were shown at once. I'm also gleeing with excitement that Max, Grape, Peanut and Tarot are there. <3 I'm guessing King gave the invites to Tarot, who in turn gave it to them just as a precaution? Or because he's confident everything is ok?

When reading the text, I couldn't help but picture King saying as he looked at Joey ~ "Who invited Joey and his creepy friends?"

Is King friends with Tarot? To me, the fact she's creeping in suggests either she's about to surprise Peanut or she's not supposed to be there...

I like how Poncho seems embarrassed to be wearing more clothes to the wedding than most are...

Given that there is no spot next to Peanut for her to sit (where she would be likely to sit) I think its pretty likely she just kind of showed up unexpectedly and wasn't going to be there at first. Also I wouldn't call Tarot and King freinds, they know each other sure but the only reason King ever talks to her is when hes dealing with Nerd related things (or he thinks he is).

I'm sure Tarot just ain't sitting down because she's on edge incase Pete shows up. She might not know that Pete already talked to King and was expecting something more open-minded, not subtle. I believe King still trusts Tarot and Sabrina, but only because they explained everything to him about what was going on in heaven. He still finds them annoying =P

Except she knows he can't, remember he can't enter the playing field until he has an avatar so she has no reason to think he can do anything directly.

HAHA nice comic! Seems all is set for the happy ending I predicted, though it's clearly that some guys will still being paranoids until the end of the arc.

I suppose the order of characters in alt-text is this:
The other Daryl/Karishad/Poncho? or a human?/Griswold? Simon? Rodney's cubs?/ Keene

And now is time to apply the "Hawk-Eye"

-Seems Natalie had a fight with Deadeye.
-Duchess is absent too.
-Tarot infiltrated in the wedding and Peanut is giving her a signal to hide.
-Grape and Max seem to be discussing what's the need to make a relationship so public and ceremonious.
-Why the dog near to Sabrina is so nervous? He's a cat lover too! :o
-Some dogs here are even bigger than wolves and humans
-Another guy with a patch in the eye!
-Jeeves has a new haircut.
-I love Keene's brown suit and his little tie.
-A human child! :o (yeah, I know it's not the first time we see one, but it's so weird XD)
-Yeltsin is still mad because he hasn't a girlfriend yet.
-Yeah! I wasn't the only one who noticed Rodney with the flower-girl at the rear! XD
-Terrible troll face, Fox X3

I feel sorry for Bill, he must be feeling so weird for all of this at this moment.

Paranoid?!

Do you know King's history of bad luck? EVERYONE is present here! This is the final disaster waiting to happen! :P

In all seriousness, that better not be the case.

Maybe Tarot and Sabrina are going to spill the beans on Joel/King, preventing him from marrying and, therefore, having a reason to join Pete and keep being a dog!

To Pete and Dragon, I'm almost certain they are savvy enough to think that's like saying Dr. Doom promises he won't ever do anything evil again. In this case, Tarot may just be taking precautions since it is King's wedding. It wouldn't surprise me if Tarot was on edge just incase, but sneaking into the wedding, while definitely more possible than my own theory, just doesn't hold enough weight with me. =P

Great turnout. Surprised to see that Pete's revelation didn't kill the mood with King, but also relieved. I'm pretty sure others WILL noticed if he's feeling down, especially here.

it's a good thing that brat that looks like Bobby Hill didn't show up, or is that him 3rd row down from the top?
