I think he's mimicking 'pushing King' to get him to move. King's a little nerveball, judging by his face in that frame.Themeister1 wrote:`What's that gesture Fox is making?

first panel looked like a lot of work put into it. on top of that it looks awesome. I totally thought it was cute for the gesture between fox and king, for king to move. lol
I don't know why I'm so hyper sometimes.....maybe its because I'm surrounded by awesome people. ^_^

I only have one question, are all the dogs in Fido´s row part of the K9 unit ? I know Fido, Ralph, Kevin, Terrance and the yelow-collar dog are part of it, but are the other two also part of the Unit ?

Perhaps they're already scheduled to provide the music for the reception?Welsh Halfwit wrote:It's hard to imagine the reception without Fiddler and Keys.

Presumably, yes. I don't think they've appeared before but considering they're with the police dogs, I would say it's a safe assumption.Gbr23 wrote:I only have one question, are all the dogs in Fido´s row part of the K9 unit ? Barely a bit more than 5 years of Housepets! And already things have changed beyond our wildest imaginings.Welsh Halfwit wrote:I think he's mimicking 'pushing King' to get him to move. King's a little nerveball, judging by his face in that frame.Themeister1 wrote:`What's that gesture Fox is making?

Is Sasha waving at Sabrina?
Re: 2013/05/27 - Here Come Da Bride
I was kind of wondering who she was waving at, too. Given what an airhead Sasha is, she might just as easily have been waving at no one. XDRoarin wrote:Is Sasha waving at Sabrina?

I think she's waving at Kevin, cause he's waving back
Re: 2013/05/27 - Here Come Da Bride
Ack, you're right. It's a little hard to tell with that crowd! I guess he would have been the first choice.

Tarot hiding there. Why do I get the feeling that when the priest says "Should anyone here present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." that she's going to speak up, maybe even reveal King's secret to the world.
Strategically speaking, if Dragon/Tarot wants to undermine Pete's Ultimatum with King (in a way that is the most merciful to Bailey and King), that would do it.

That would have the exact opposite effect though. It would destroy the relationship, not to mention all the police dogs and fox in there would would beat him up worse than Bino mouthing off. With everything gone, he would have nothing left to lose, and may join pete just to get revenge.Twilight wrote:Tarot hiding there. ... Just noticed in the second seat of the K-9 unit. Dog is looking at someone's butt.

It most certainly could backfire, just as you said. That thought most certainly crossed my mind as I was writing my comment. But it does not seem likely. As of now, King has a deadline - in one year, whether or not he allows himself to become Pete's avatar, Pete will forfeit. Which means King has less than a year to not only to choose to accept becoming his avatar, but also win the game. That's quite a fire Pete lit under him!Cashuea wrote:That would have the exact opposite effect though. As long as King has something to lose - something to live for, Pete's Ultimatum holds water. If King and Bailey marry (which injects all this extra urgency), he really will have no choice but to become his avatar or he will lose everything he holds dear. He'll hate Pete and the situation he was thrust into (discontent, Dark Paladin material), but he will be extremely motivated to win at any cost. That would make him an incredibly dangerous pawn on Pete's side - I couldn't imagine Dragon not pulling out all the stops to prevent that from happening. She's proven to be a pretty ruthless opponent in the past.
In the end, if Tarot speaks up at that point and offers some sensible reason (it doesn't even have to reveal King's human nature), it would allow King to 'escape' the trap Pete just sprung on him with his dignity and reputation intact (because jilting someone is an excellent way to destroy every friendship you have), and give him time to find a more rational means to deal with this new threat. If nothing else, it gives King more time to come clean to Bailey about his dual nature, it's something she deserves to know about now that there exists the chance that he could revert back.
As for him joining Pete as a means to get revenge ... I don't see that having a good chance of happening (it's still a non-zero probability, though.) He has every reason to hate Pete (and given more reasons now), but he has no reason to hate anyone else. He is the one "deceiving" everyone else, after all.

I thought pretty much the same thing:
I previously wrote:Maybe Tarot and Sabrina are going to spill the beans on Joel/King, preventing him from marrying and, therefore, having a reason to join Pete and keep being a dog!

Missed that one in this topic's four pages. They certainly could spill the beans on King's human duality, they would need to find some means to convince everyone (or everyone who matters) of this 'impossibility'. However, I sort of suspect that if they're going to do this, that they'll use some different (more believable) reason.Silly Zealot wrote:I thought pretty much the same thing:I previously wrote:Maybe Tarot and Sabrina are going to spill the beans on Joel/King, preventing him from marrying and, therefore, having a reason to join Pete and keep being a dog!
Anyone have any ideas of what 'credible reason' they could give?

I doubt Tarot will speak out loud when Peanut is right beside her. But maybe she will use her psychic link to talk with him before he say the "I do".
And you seems to forget that Dragon wants him to be happy.
However, I still hope that something interesting and unexpected will happen.

Re: 2013/05/27 - Here Come Da Bride
It seems I indeed did forget and need a refresher on that specific. What I do remember is the fact that Pete and Dragon are locked in opposition to one another in this cosmic duel; each playing to win. Pete's willingness to violate Heaven's laws to try gain an edge is pretty evident of that!Gren wrote:I doubt Tarot will speak out loud when Peanut is right beside her. Supposing that Dragon does want him to be happy and does have his better interest at heart (better, not best, because he's not Peanut), she may well realize that the path to his happily ever after will involve great pain and sacrifice. She's a timeless being. Without a doubt this is nothing new to her. Hurting someone to help them is an ageless idea. Think it's called "tough love", even.
My expectation is that Tarot or Sabrina will speak and bring an end to the wedding -- this time.

Doh! Didn't see that >_< I wasn't sure cause Sabrina looks kinda like she's waving too.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:I think she's waving at Kevin, cause he's waving back

She also wants to win the game, and King's short term pain and sacrifice will make him a stronger avatar.Twilight wrote:Supposing that Dragon does want him to be happy and does have his better interest at heart (better, not best, because he's not Peanut), she may well realize that the path to his happily ever after will involve great pain and sacrifice. I took that in consideration but, Will Joel/King join Pete if Bailey no longer loves him?Argent wrote:She also wants to win the game, and King's short term pain and sacrifice will make him a stronger avatar.
I just realized this all looks like a romantic telenovella.
