I hadn't considered customs charges and I presume it would be the same for the UK. I guess when factored into the price they're still worth it. Time to go raid the piggy bank!

Brilliant, there's loads more awesome sketches! Just acquired the 'Obligatory Reference' sketch :D

I've already picked out a prime viewing location, next to my signed XKCD, signed photo of Keanu Reeves (don't ask!), and a few others.

I smile every time I see the XKCD strip and now I can do the same with Housepets! Thank Rick

Absolutely amazing! I hope you make a mint on this, because it deserves every penny.

This brings up a question, though. Does this mean you do your rough sketches on paper, even to this day? That is actually really amazing to me!

No, the sketches were only for like an eight-month period; most of the comic has been all-digital. Now I do full-sized physical inking.

In fact I think Great Water Balloon War was the last one I did regular physical sketching for (besides a few exceptions). I converted to all-digital again before the end of the arc.

I've always been intrigued as to what software or devices people use to digitally draw and sketch on, especially what Rick uses! I do love to see physical sketches or inking, but I don't know why. I suppose it just seems to have more of a romantic feel to it.

*addition to "list of things I'll do if I get a tardis"*
After successfully robing $100,000 from PETA, I shall teleport into ricks house the night after he puts the originals up for sale, take the character sheets for peanut, fox, and king to place on the wall of my recently acquired inter-demensional base and leave Rick griffon with 10 times the listed sale price, along with a additional $2,000. He needs a reward for making this comic.

Only $3350 out of your newly acquired $100,000! What are you doing with the other $96650? :P

I haven't been able to hang my sketch up yet as it didn't fit the frame :(. I'm taking it to the professional framers today to get it done as I don't want to cut it. My fault as I didn't check the size!

Yeah, a typical comic averages seven hours' work. That's impacted by more or fewer panels, of course. Regular sketches vary, depending on complexity.
