Still waiting for the day King breaks down and tells Fox the truth about his past, and begs for forgiveness. I'm sure Fox would forgive him, and it'd be all 'dawww cute' and everything. ;)

'o course I still think King is also the linchpin of Pete's power or machinations, thus the name King; his most important, but not most powerful or flashy, piece.

I wonder if Grape is the queen? And maybe Bino and Fox are the Knights! And Sasha and Tarot are the Bishops! And Zach and Peanut are the Rooks! Everyone else are the pawns!

I'll take a guess and guess that won't happen.

Maybe a kiss on the cheek instead. That would work to the same effect.

King signs up for the K-9 Unit while under the influence.
He'll be the Scout.
BONK!
...
Sorry.

Anyhow, first of all, I totally called lack of amnesia. Also, Rick is awesome for playing on that. Proves he reads this part of the forum :p

Secondly, I think King needs to stay 'drunk' for at least another few comics. I think he'll actually get fairly popular among the K-9 dogs, who are probably also getting to that state themselves, and then try to get it on with (AKA 'kiss') Sasha. Immediate reaction with the whole Bino thing, but also would allow a secondary reaction when King stops being 'drunk' and realises what he's done (Which would be a problem because of the whole him not technically being a dog thing)

AGREED

Except on the whole ' him not technically being a dog thing' thing. He's physically a dog now, and from what we've heard, he's going to stay a dog for a long time. Maybe he is used to being a dog and he's starting to think like one? He might prefer being a dog. And if he prefers to be a dog, and maybe he'll accept his fate. And if that happens, then maybe he'll start to find lady-dogs attractive. And then Sasha and King can have all the poppies they want!

You spelled it wrong, it's "poppius".

Now the idea of King staying drunk is great, there's a million possibilities on what might happen.

Perhaps, and I for one hope he prefers being a dog (And stays that way! 8D ), but I would feel a little odd if it only took him this long to start liking female dogs in that way. Still, you have a valid point :)

Try 3.5 times as long.

Also, what the heck is in that orange soda that makes animals act that way? And King's soda-drunk off one can?

Concussion + Drunk = the mother of all hangovers.

Rick should add "orange soda" as a tag.

I expect something similar, if I'm guessing what you mean by 'spill all the beans' right-- I mean, when are you more likely to say something you normally wouldn't/shouldn't, than when you're drunk? ... Off Orange soda? Might be too early to expect it, but y'know... The comic isn't exactly predictable, in and of itself. xD

Maybe Pete is using the Orange soda to manipulate people. Maybe he wanted the Ferrets to let the Wolves in, and used reverse psychology to get King to go to the party and get hammered!

Or maybe I'm dramatically over thinking the fact that Orange Soda is apparently the pet world's version of White Lightening.
