Hi, I'm mikesmom4. Despite the name, I am male, this is just the name I've been going by since my first forum. I'm 16 years old, love video games, dinosaurs, Disney, Housepets!, Star Wars, and am a brony, among other things. I used to post obsessively on other forums, but I've mellowed out and become shy, thanks to a massive increase in awareness, and probably won't be posting often, but, if I get comfortable, I might be back at full force.

Hi, I'm Odd-Erik (Yes that is my real name; no my parents don't hate me, it's Norwegian), I've recently found the comic and have now read through it 2 times(more like 3.7, but only two coherent read-throughs). I like Anime, Games, Youtube, Webcomics and am a slight furry. My favorite animals are otters, foxes and wolves, in that order.

Feel free to call me Odd, Erik or both, IRL most people shorten it to Odd, while Erik is actually a name in English, so both work for me. And yeah, I'm closet too. People here seem nice though :).

AWWWWW YISSSSSS~
Look who's back from the abyss of black with rhymes as serious as a heart attack! (Ack ack ack ack ack ack ack! You oughta know by now!)

I joke, I kid, I'm fibbin' mad libs~ I've never been around, I'm the new kid in town!
But with all seriousness where seriousness is due, new here, Kon'nichiwa everyone! (And a Happy Holidays to all abound!)
Name's Dakota, but I can kick with the three aliases I've made for myself, Koya, Vincent, and Nova! [Characters for the future]

I have no idea what I'm doing. It's 2:36 am and I'm trying to find a way to tire myself out to slumber off to dream land but all I could think about was meeting all these awesome people that followed and supported Housepets. Been a fan for just a few days, but from those few days (Two, really, and more or less, 12 hours of INTENSE Peanut-like-speed reading) I've gone through ALL of the comics since 08 till now.
It's kind of like watching your favorite series on Hulu late at night, drowning sorrows with a fat tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream because you've binge-watched the entire season, and now you have to wait for more episodes before you can continue with the story. Tragic, painful waiting.

And forgive me if I'm trying way too hard to make a statement and stand out, or if I sound like a total tool.

By the way, which of your aliases would you prefer we address you as, if not your actual name?

...I'm not sure!
Thanks for the welcome, by the way!

Also, I plan on playing as Koya / Vince as Twins in the future.
I really go as whichever, you can even call me Dakota if you'd like!

*Edit*

Also, could I please be directed to the nearest thread where I can educate myself about character slips, rules, regulations and expectations of RP groups? Dying to get into something like that soon in the future.

Also checking limits on species I can play. IE: Sergals or even bipedal anthro-esque Snakes. (Human-like snake, etc.)

Details are appreicated.

questions like that are best addressed in the main out of character thread
the first post answers some of your questions, and any other questions can be asked in the thread, or to an RP mod in PM.

as for species, that's really dependant on the neighborhood you join, but I think most of them limit themselves to anthropomorphized non-hooved mammals (like in Housepets) and don't allow sergals

Thanks much! I'll get my head start over there and read up once I get the chance. Should really sleep now and get some rest before heading into work. Take care!
