Unless there are any more Leviathans or mythical creatures disguised as pets (with Rick it's likely), I'm going to assume the two on the door are Pete and Tarot.

What does it mean? I'm not sure
Woah! Rick planned that from long ago? :O

Alright, i gotta sleep, but i just thought i would point out that the subject of Tarot being a dragon (as in, literally) is debatable. that's the whole point i was trying to bring up tonight.

I can see Tarot turning into a dragon or summoning one, but the subject of her being one is still debatable. though i would find it humorously cute as well. Peanut dating a dragon... would even a god-like creature fall to the power of the puppy-eye treatment? only time will tell!

... By the way, considering they're right next to an area full of pets... Has nobody noticed the giant dragon looming over the treetops? I mean, maybe those are just some really, really good fireworks, but it seems like the kinda thing you'd notice.

That would make it interesting, cute, and funny at the same time. I image Peanut seeing his physic "girlfriend" transform into a dragon.

They are locked in a space-time bubble that has been "pinched" off the primary universe. Anyone else would see an empty grove. They are isolated.

I find it interesting that Tarot appeared during Peanut's "time of need". But why would a giant dragon care? Does Peanut relate to this in any way?

Most likely he's special in some way (and by that extension Grape might be as well since she got the dream from Pete in the first place) you know like a chosen one or something. Or maybe she just felt like interfering out of boredom. (I take the first option.)

Maybe Peanut has something pure within side of them, hence the special part. I could be wrong on this..

The powerful beings have chosen their puppets, but now will they do real battle? Was Grape supposed to be Pete's puppet, but her proximity to Peanut and Tarot made him switch to King?

Also Rick, hi five for no one seeing it coming.

Personally I think and hope not. King is to good a character to lose so soon.
I do believe Tarot will help King in some ways but their are probably some annoying rules that prevent her from helping him by changing him back into a human.
Maybe we will learn the conditions to change him back or even some of Pete and Tarot's rules.

The King character arc is too incomplete to be resolved in such a literal dea ex machina way. I'm with chronocrosser on this one.

A thought just crossed my mind (This is going back to the Christmas Arc) I think Pete might have been talking about Tarot when he said Sasha is protected.

Considering the fact that Joel was turn into King in the first place was to teach him some kind of lesson, I believe that King still have's a long way to go in that department, even if he gets turned back into a human, which I doubt it for now.

Holy crap. This is getting good. Now the question is whether that was Tarot transformed or a spirit summoned by Tarot. And if it was Tarot, is that her true form, or just one that she can magically take?

Am I the first one to say it when I acknowledge the Homestar Runner reference in the alt text?

Well Tarot just went up in the awesome division, right across space and time up to the top.
this makes stuff so mutch more interesting

I do hope they get to settle there differences and became friends.
Pete might have abused his powers, but none of us think it was a bad dissension.

I'm sure Peanut will understand that she is a giant dragon.

WHAT THE CRAP!?

My mind is so blown that I didn't want to read any of the previous comments in this thread. I'll just state my theory: Tarot channels the spirits, including the spirit of this pwnsome dragon. The dragon, after seeing Pete, possessed Tarot and took control, manifesting into it's true form.

This way, Tarot is made of epic win, is still a dog (and therefore still will date Peanut) and I am happy!

While I don't want Pete to get blasted into another dimension or anything he doesn't strike me to take loosing lightly. Be interesting to see how this goes.
May you lead an interesting life.

Woo I was right! I'm just not sure whether this is a spirit or Tarot's real form, but really... it's something I didn't expect! I wet myself  ....

And now what? Please don't tell me we're gonna lose Tarot and/or King. They're both awesome characters (Especially when drunk >_> ), so yeah, it would really be a big loss.

This makes me wonder, what is Sabrina...?

There is a 50% - 50% chance that this could go good for King or bad.

Also I beleave Tarot is not a dragon, but a body for the Dragon Spirit/guardian, to use, as a means to have a solid form/body.

What could happen next? The dragon tells Pete about the rules he abused, and locks him down forever, and then realizes that Pete was the only one who could turn King back into Joel, meaning that he has to stay in this form... forever.

Also, Pete's head looked so much bigger in the last comic.

Really? Cause he's only like twice King's size in the second panel. Which would put him at about regular human size.

Two Twig does bring up an excellant point and an outstanding observation!

I'm siding on the fact that Tarot is actually a dragon. That said, I don't blame her for not dating humans. Not only would that be awkward, but it probably wouldn't turn out very well.
