My birthday is during the best time of the year to have a birthday. It's usually the 3rd day of summer and exactly half way to Christmas.
Also, I know a ridiculous amount of November birthdays.

My birthday is in August, so I never will have school on the day. However this does make me one of the youngest in y school year.

It can be a good thing. It's nice to graduate at age 17. (don't know what age students typically graduate in the UK)Kyuubi Kitsune wrote:My birthday is in August, so I never will have school on the day. However this does make me one of the youngest in y school year.

My twin sister and I are also born in August. We're usually the youngest at our school. I'm the youngest out of my group of friends, They like to remind me that I'm the youngest by telling me to "respect your elders".

They probably wouldn't listen to me, not many people do. Oh, you should see us playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl together. If we take anything seriously, it's that. We start yelling at each other and call each other names. It's a lot of fun.
Re: Chat Thread 41: Mod Maker
I should play Brawl more often, but everyone ones after me in online brawls because I play as fox and they so to take out him first.

It doesn't sound as appealing as it's made out to be.

So 7-11 has really good, but really hot chicken biscuits for an $1. I mean very hot.

Kitela, presumably they would call it by name.
Our nearest gas station sells donuts for 59 cents after 3:00. They may not be super fresh but who turns down donuts that cheap?

I would. I don't like gas station anything unless it's a Wawa or Royal Farms. (If you know what one is but not the other, don't worry. They're basically the same. If you don't know either, just imagine a gas station with the cleanliness and food of a Subway [for Wawa] or a really good chicken place [for Royal Farms])

One time I was traveling and (I'm pretty sure this was in Boise, Idaho but it might be in Dubois, I'm not sure) there was a gas station that had an ice cream parlor, a pizza counter, a deli, a small general store, and a generic Idahoan gift shop. To this day, I haven't found a better or cheaper gas station.

On the topic of gas station food. This morning, I was introduced to the best breakfast sandwiches I'v ever had. I don't know if it was because of my expectations of it being from a gas station, but Casey's Gas station makes a good bacon and egg croissant sandwiches.

I remember a few years ago we stopped at a gas station with a restaurant attached called a Flying J whilst on a trip to San Antonio. They had a buffet there and we were the last people to make it in time. I took a whole plate of bacon and ate it all.
It was a good morning.

I've been to those but none were that fancy! Maybe that's a new addition.
They're donuts. It's kinda hard to mess those up.JeffCvt wrote:I would. I don't like gas station anything unless it's a Wawa or Royal Farms. (If you know what one is but not the other, don't worry. It's not that I don't think the donuts will be good, I just never get a nice, clean feeling from most gas stations. Where I am, I'm spoiled with my Wawas and Royal Farms.
Maybe that gas station you go to is really clean Sleet. I don't know.

It pretty much is. There aren't really dirty gas station stores in my town. Dirty gas station outdoor bathrooms, sure. But the indoor stuff is usually pretty clean!

Almost all of the gas stations in the closest town from here are decently clean, being a part of some large chain.
On the topic of cheap food, there's a place here called Canadian Pizza Unlimited that after about 1:30am starts selling two slices of pizza for $3. I was told they figure nobody else is going to eat the pizzas and they cook fresh ones the next day, so the slices would otherwise be thrown away. It's actually really awesome pizza, mainly because you can have unlimited toppings (hence the name).

I don't think I've ever had food from a gas station other than a refrigerated sandwich with brown lettuce and chewy bread.

I never get meals at gas stations, so I have had no issue. If I get food it'd just be packaged stuff like chips or candy.

Gas stations here usually serve pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, various roasted nuts, and very high-quality barbecue.

Ours just sell overpriced packaged food and a few warm beverages and foods that may give you food poisoning, so it's obvious who has the better deal here.

Ours sell beer (and other alcoholic beverages) even at night. That might be no big deal across the ocean, but here in Germany there's something called shop closing time

You can't even sell alcohol in Delaware unless it's in a liquor store. Grocery stores, gas stations, nothing like that can sell even beer.

Its good that they have alcohol there. You can chase the horrible gas station food with it to kill the inevitable bacteria and parasites.

We have a gas station where you can buy Grey Goose and craft beers. It's actually really sweet. It's a top-of-the-line gas station store, even down to having Mr. Pibb in the soda fountains.
