[ Who Watches ]

Title Text: soon

Wonderful work by Askie and Valerio! That teddy bear's look certainly has the power to penetrate even a mere immortal's soul... :S

Insert Twilight Zone music here....

Excellent job! I was stumped at guessing who the character would be from your clues, and Ironicly, I believe I wrote the line on the TvTropes page comparing Tiger's things to Garfield's :)

And Poom will remain so obscure a character, that he won't even be tagged TWICE in the comic. *evil laugh*

And since Poom's personhood is fully within Tiger's imagination...

...I'm scared.

Obscure AND imaginary. I like it.

I watch; they never see me,
Those people just sat out there.
They don't know they'll never be free
that knowledge wouldn't be fair.
I'm part imagination, part fear.
I'm the thing left out in the rain.
I'm the toy that catches you right here.
I'm the terror whose loss brings pain.
Gods within boxes in the world,
watched by eyes they cannot see.
Scolded by lips never unfurled.
Forever known by little old me...

And just like that, Poom became the scariest character in the comic.

Thanks, Val.

Hmmm, what's worse, being watched over by Pete or Poom?

I think all of the animal toys in Housepets are more dark and sinister than the dolphins...

First there's Poom with his dark cold stare, then there's Chauncey the Backflipping Robot Penguin with his his dark thoughts. I wonder what more creepy toys are there? :P

3. I missed most of the Guest Week so far, including the Spot The Movie one
4. I regret to say this for the billionth time but Poom is my new favorite character.

But...but...Poom can't play U&U by himself! Or can he?

Love how the colour slowly fades to black and white. Really brings out the sinister.

Fantastic work, Val and Askie!

Super strip, guys! Very, very deep. I hope I don't have to pick a fave for this week; it would be a tough call. Also, nice summary, Welshie, one of your top 10.

Wow. That kind of freaked me out. That whole strip reminds me of the ending in the first Men in Black. You know, with the galaxy and such.
I'm thinking of starting a Fan Fiction, should I do it? Send me a PM with some ideas and names of characters!

I always felt these comics could use more Poom. He was one of my favorite things in the earlier strips. Great comic! :)

Hey kids, look who's back! It's Poom, Tiger's confidential teddy plushies! That's really scary, all the demigods and what they do are watched by a not living thing... So, it's all a D&D game imagined by Tiger and done with it when he's depressed (which is like, all the time), and recently we've also seen how pretty unstable is his mind... :?

So genial idea, Valerio! Very good drawing work, Askie! :D
