Thank you Hukley!! I love it so much! I hope all of you had great fun riding your hot-air balloon pooltoy!...except that Render seems a bit green.
Did you know my friends call me "The Great Pontificator"! Or was it "The Great Time Waster"?

Re: Art Thread
Yet another cool draw! Must say that aBritishfox is multiuse and versatile, is enough change the kind of gas inside him. Nice group, if I had been there... Some poses are really dangerous. There's an intruder between them.
Re: Art Thread
Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I've visited this thread and it's nice to see it still active! =)
Now... if this is somehow the wrong place to do this, I apologize in advance... but I didn't feel like making a new thread for something like this seeing as how it might be irrelevant by sometime next week. And, I don't feel like I frequent the forums enough to warrant a whole thread centered around me. But... if it's cool with you guys, I'm gonna take a second and do some... shameless self-promotion
Several, several pages back on this thread, I put up some Pokemon-related art I submitted for a T-shirt design contest that didn't make end up making the cut. Since then, the weekly contests have still been going strong and I've submitted designs a few other times as well, with no success... until this last week.
Last week's theme was "tattoo" and after several failed attempts at Game of Thrones designs, I decided to go back to Pokemon and try some tribal art since I already had some experience in that area. I submitted designs for both Pikachu and Greninja and crossed my fingers. On Tuesday, I received a glorious email saying that my Pikachu design ("Sparky") made the cut!
For one week (ending Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning) my design will be sold alongside 4 others on shirts, hoodies, and phone cases. Here are the two pictures they have up on the site:
I'll be receiving commission money for my sales during this week... and... *drum roll*... if my design ends up outselling the others by Wednesday morning, not only will it be guaranteed to stay on the site for a whole year (the others are usually taken off) but I'll get a bonus prize of about $500
Now... this isn't a post where I'm trying to force you guys into buying something by whining about needing the money or recognition or whatever. I just think this was something really cool that finally happened to me and I wanna get the message out as much as I can in case anyone is interested. Making the top 5 is awesome... but winning would be even awesome-er
So, if you ARE interested in the design and don't mind helping me out, you can buy an item at this link:
http://www.forhumanpeoples.com/collecti ... cts/sparky
Any bit of support I can get for this is very very very much appreciated and if you do decide to get something, then I already love you forever
And if not, that's cool too... I understand how money is an issue sometimes and how you can't expect everyone to like a design. I also understand the time constraint considering there's only a few days left to buy (I was extremely busy the last two days and didn't even think about putting this here until this morning.) But if you can't... maybe you have a friend that likes Pokemon and has a little disposable income
Anyway, that's all I have to say. Thanks for your time guys

Very nice! Unfortunately, I have neither an interest in Pokémon nor disposable income. I will, however, help you win by not buying anything of the competing designs.

So, before I started drawing Housepets! stuff, I drew anthros (mostly werewolves) in my own style of drawing (but I must say, the Housepets! style is a lot easier and more fun to draw). Anyway, here are a couple examples of my artwork:

I love those, Douglas! Well done!
You still need to learn the difference between a parrot and a quoll, Huk! Great draw though!
Well done, Kouri! I'm in the same boat as Douglas unfortunately but I wish you every success with the competition!

Also, you've got some pretty cool drawings too. I love how clean your line work looks. Makes me think of the art style you see in comics =)

Very nice drawing work Douglas, great detailing but there's to work a bit on the perspective. That's great, Kouri.

I know that he is a platypus, but for some reason, he reminds me a lot of characters from Darkwing Duck/Ducktales. Maybe just the art style.

Thanks, Huk!
On the subject of signature styles, I see you normally use an off shaped square as your background. I like it!
I was talking with Hyper about our favorite pokemon.
Mine was Dewott and his was Absol. So, I wondered what would happen if the 2 had a baby...
Here it is! Absolott!

I don't know the first thing about pokemon but still a great draw and it certainly looks like an interesting hybrid.
Huk, great work as always!
Douglas: *giggles* Poor Catherin! Better grab her quick, Bea! Great draw!
