Well it did work for me a few times in the past.

I second Whozjama's suggestion. Just "deciding" to not procrastinate rarely works.

Procrastination is just so hard to conquer. I should know. I'm still fighting mine and often losing.

I once suffered from procrastination, but it has been such an issue that I will have to put it off till later.

You know, it is VERY tough to purposely write something to be bad in a good way. If you're not careful, it just ends up being bad.

Oh, definitely. Look at the jokes in Christmas crackers. Those are so bad they're good, but there is a fine line.JeffCvt wrote:You know, it is VERY tough to purposely write something to be bad in a good way. If you're not careful, it just ends up being bad.

I got it from CGPgrey while listening to one of the Hello Internet podcast episodes.
While I say I know the advice I can say I have the experience to verify it. I tried to use ColdTurkey once, the urge to waste time had me googling un-installation methods on the second day.

I don't think I could use Cold Turkey. First of all I wouldn't even try it because it'd become a hassle that would anger me more than procrastinating would,

So I finally was able to make fried chicken with my uncle. It came out good, but it could have used more salt.

It certainly is. Also... maybe it's just me, but did they change Gumball's VA? His voice sounds a lot higher than I remember. The Blue Fox wrote:Found this on Tumblr; TAWOG shows procrastination in a nutshell

yeah, that's what happens when you actually have kids voicing kids. their voice changes and you need a new actor.
that's why it's better to have adult voice actresses play them. Nancy Cartwright's been Bart Simpson for over 25 years.

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
During Season 2 the original VAs' voices had been changing, so the first episode of S3 ("The Kids") made an in-universe excuse for transferring voice actors. How they're going to be able to pull this off any more than once, I'm not entirely sure.ShadowLightning wrote:It certainly is. Also... maybe it's just me, but did they change Gumball's VA? I dunno, the Peanuts voice actors were pretty endearing.

What's Peanuts?
Kidding - just kidding!
I haven't really seen the show, but I've read some of the comics.

I just found myself strangely drawn to Danger Mouse.
Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life The Universe & Everything
I have only seen the major Peanuts specials, as well as the It's America Charlie Brown episodes. I need to watch more Peanuts, now that I know there are more I haven't seen. I bet it will be great if I liked the ones I know about.

The only thing related to Peanuts I've watched was a Christmas special. When it comes to older television programs though, Mr. Belvedere is my favorite

When I eat nuts, they have to be salted. I can't eat unsalted nuts. Too bland.

Same here. Though when I was younger, I used to suck the salt off of the nuts.

I hate nuts unless they are in something like a cookie. I don't know why, I have just always been that way.
Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
I used to (and still do!) eat boiled peanuts after dinner whilst watching the tele. My family traditionally had star anise added to it, so it was fun to overload my senses after a bowl of peanuts....I should buy some more raw peanuts to boil

I just love cashews. Almonds are okay, but I only really eat them when they're in chocolate.

Eugh. Can't stand nuts. Even if they're coated in chocolate. Avoid them like the plague.
Raisins though (especially chocolate coated ones), are oh so good and sweet. I nearly prefer raisin cookies over chocolate chip. Was surprised so many people dislike raisins.

I love oatmeal raisin cookies, but I don't think I'd choose them over chocolate chip. I also love sugar cookies, the best ones are the ones I can get from Giant Eagle. I love those, they are some of the best cookies I have had.
