No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

wait... I was going to argue that this isn't likely, because Spo was flirting with Squeak in the "Mice to Meet You" arc.Saturn381 wrote:Spo and Squeak are related.
but then I realized... what was Squeak's first response to his flirting? "Aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper?"
that's what Leia said when seeing Luke for the first time in Star Wars. Luke and Leia are brother and sister, but they didn't know it until after they had kissed.
Spo may have been unknowingly flirting with his long lost sister. (good thing Squeak turned him down)

considering the family's naming conventions, that would mean squeak has an absurd number of siblings.Saturn381 wrote:Spo and Squeak are related.

well I imagine the first few may have had real names. then they got too lazy to try and come up with so many names.Buster wrote:considering the family's naming conventions, that would mean squeak has an absurd number of siblings.Saturn381 wrote:Spo and Squeak are related.
or going with something from a fan fiction, I think it was Valerio's, her real name is Squ. 32 siblings after Spo.

I don't think they re related. Spo tried to hit on Squeak when they first met. I guess its possible that Spo doesn't know ALL of his siblings, but I don't think Rick would go there.

Squeak's first line to Spo was Leia's first line to Luke. Luke and Leia kissed before they knew they were related. Star Wars went farther and Rick already made it clear that the flirting is done.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Rick would go there.

Wait. Did we not manage to clear this up over the 5 years since "Dog Days of Summer"?
Avatars are a game mechanic of the Universes & Unrealities game. They act as your player character in the game (with some interesting differences due to the player character's own free will). So, if a Celestial isn't playing a U&U game, he or she doesn't have an avatar. Similarly the GM of the game may not (and, in the game we witnessed, did not) have an avatar in the same way the GM of any mortal RPG is rather unlikely to also have a particular character. The game in Babylon Gardens was the only game we were aware of being played in this particular universe, so even if other Celestials are playing other games, their avatars are not even a part of the universe of our mortal Housepets! characters but rather a part of some other universe. As such, it seems that none of the Celestials we know currently have an avatar, as it does not appear they are currently playing a game of U&U (Pete and Dragon because they are mortals, Kitsune because he just finished GMing a game (though he may have another game going by now somewhere else, who knows?), and Cerberus because I just don't think she's playing any RPGs at the moment, doesn't give off the right vibe to me).
