New voting period! Gaasuba has been casted as Grape and voting has now begun for Mr. Sandwich. Thanks to all who have participated so far.

Also, since there were more submissions for this one, you each get 2 votes, to make it easier on everyone.

ZeldaFreak and Invisan had the best tone of voice I find for Mr. Sandwich. A Heavy, deep voice. though Invisan's volume has to be toned up a bit.

I agree, ZeldaFreak has a more natural deep voice. I honestly prefer his over mine! :D

Well, if you look down the Fan Projects threads a bit, you'll find the Housepets! Webshow thread ;)
And if you've listened to the auditions in question (currently Mr. Sandwich), then you are free to vote on your top 2 picks for who should do the voice.

As far as time frame, a voice for Peanut has to be chosen before recording or animating can even start. We also need art and scripting between the two, so I can't really say how long it will be just yet.

With the most votes, that means ZF got the part ^^ I told him that, too, just so he was aware.

Anywho, I'm flattered 2 people thought I was good enough to play Mr. Sandwich ^^

The only link he has to this series is me. I know him from church, he's a really good friend of mine, really cool guy, and I know he has experience in acting. I can ask him to join the forums if that'd make things easier, but... actually, I think he has skype, so honestly if we were to start planning, I'd rather do it there.

I'd also love to get his brother in on this, but he might be too busy with stuff. He could probably do a good Fox or King ^^
Heck, if this goes far enough, I'd even say Pete.

Finished casting for Mr. Sandwich. It'll be a few days until the next one again (which will be Peanut, so if you want to audition, hurry). Same rules will apply, but I'll actually have to reject a few as polls can only have so many options, so sorry in advance.

I may or may not have offered my support of Solarisphoenix for the role of Pete before we decided to vote. :?

Voices are first, since animation has to be synced to the voices.

EDIT:
Now voting for Peanut. The cast auditions exceeded the limit for poll options, so I had to reject a few. Sorry.

For the record, I think Czukay has the makings of a pretty good King.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

For Peanut, I like the samples by Czukay, Randomgeeknamedbrent and Ralphbear25. Good work also for Chaokocartoons. I picked two from them. ;)
Just noticed something that apparently everyone forgot when they recorded the third audition line: in the comic, Peanut is covering his face, so, you had to do the same too. ;) The voice tone becomes more smothered, then.

Yes I think that it is possible to voice to characters in the webshow. They do it all the time on cartoons.

I'm actually surprised that not too many chose Gothyk!
He's got a voice I'd pin right to Peanut, and he's got my main vote.
Although his cry for Grape needs a bit of work
I also voted Czukay because of the mic quality and the clarity he had while recording. It was also very convincing, but I still say Gothyk's got the best voice for Peanut.

I also just listened to Yoshi's "younger voice" audition and find that one great!
