I'd go with half-brothers from their mother because they look VERY different.

Rufus is blind.
I suspected he was blind since talking to Grape a long time ago based on his eye movements.

Also yeah, he is kinda staring off into everywhere except anywhere.
EDIT: Allegra? I don't think fanfic characters count on the main Housepets board, hon. I only vaguely know who that is... *chuckles*

She's referring to "Cat Waitress" from the Heathcliff's, https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/08/ ... kill-cafe/RemonyRavine wrote:Allegra? I don't think fanfic characters count on the main Housepets board, hon. I only vaguely know who that is... *chuckles*
Some fans call her by the fanon name Allegra, coined by forumite "ChristopherJackal".

I AM SO SORRY, I know you're a boy, I just typed it wrong because RemonyRavine said "hon", that got me confused. I know it doesn't make any sense, but it's true, "hon" always throws off my train of though.

Whoooops. My bad, then. I read a small bit of Valerio's fic and saw the name, thinking "who in the world..." Carry on!
EDIT: as for the hon thing, it's more of a sweet nickname-calling kinda thing. Not gender specific as far as I'm concerned. X3 (but I'm also a weirdo)

Zootopia will be the only Disney cartoon that new kids watch in this universe.
All Dogs go to Heaven will then be considered too mature for their kids to watch... until they realize that is just silly =P

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
As explained a mere half-dozen posts above, "Allegra" is a fan-given name for the cat waitress depicted in an older strip (from the n-ple Date arc). As you say, Allegra is the brand name of an over-the-counter antihistamine. However, Allegra is also common as both a given and family name.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I'm confused. What is the egg test? Is that like pretending the egg is a baby or something?
Re: Wild Mass Guessing
Yes. :3
It isn't seen on cartoons today that much, but that is the general idea of the egg test. take care of it and don't let it break =P

Wild mass guess, from the grave!
Bailey's gonna have two pups, male and female, they're going to turn out to be Pete and Dragon's mortal (re?)incarnations.
It's soon enough after the end of the U&U arc, and that'd it'd be a perfect thing for a trickster deity like the Kitsune to pull.

And I repeat once again, if Rick pulls a movie like that, he WILL lose readers. People already hate the two of them for using King as a pawn and nearly separating Bailey and him for the rest of his life (Pete said something about the game lasting a VERY long time) so that would be a bad move. After all of the crap that Kingley has been through, that would just be pure trolling.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
But at the same time, it could be a character changing moment for both Pete and Dragon to have the two people they almost messed up the worst, be the two people who not only hold the most power over them, but also the ones who, (likely unknowningly) love them the most, it could give them some humility.Amazee Dayzee wrote:And I repeat once again, if Rick pulls a movie like that, he WILL lose readers. Among other possible outcomes.

Personally, I think that we could still have some character changing moments with those two without having to bring King and Bailey into it AGAIN. :PZanesands wrote:But at the same time, it could be a character changing moment for both Pete and Dragon to have the two people they almost messed up the worst, be the two people who not only hold the most power over them, but also the ones who, (likely unknowningly) love them the most, it could give them some humility.Amazee Dayzee wrote:And I repeat once again, if Rick pulls a movie like that, he WILL lose readers. But Dragon didn't seem too bothered about it and also she too did some screwing up peoples lives. Its implied that she broke up Sabrina and Max so she could stick Max with Grape (whom Pete wanted as an avatar) and Sabrina with Fido (who was Pete's next choice).
Besides even if people didn't freak out, almost everybody is practically expecting it to happen so I don't think it should.

While normally i would argue against that, i suppose you do have a point on the predictability side of things.
hmmm.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Too many people are ALREADY rooting for it to happen and even those that don't won't be surprised. I guess you can argue that Cori and Trinket being them might be a bit predictable also but there was sort of a hint there with the eyes. Here its just guessing.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
No, Cory and Trinket being them isn't predictable, it's stupid. They're too old to live out the proper sentence without time travel being involved, something Kitsune seems to avoid.
Personally, i like the deity puppies idea, if for no other reason than the irony of Pete's fate being in King's paws, even if neither realizes it initially. It shouldn't be obvious though, subtlety is the way to go.

Re: Wild Mass Guessing
I feel like Rick wanted to close out the Celestial arc, which implies that they won't be showing up in comic or that we'd at least never be informed who they are (which is basically the same). Also Celestials experience time subjectively, so time from our perspective is meaningless to them unless they want it to be (like, say, for a U&U game). Regardless there's no point in arguing which stupid idea is more stupid than the other stupid idea
And really... y'all seem to miss the point of wild mass guessing

Since I doubt we won't see them again for a few years, I feel its weird to speculate about it, but I am just saying what I thought most people were thinking. I am fine with not knowing though.

Throwing away characters would just not be cool - there are people who care about them.
. . .
You know, Mrs. Holloway recently had a baby . . . I wouldn't put it past Kitsune to do a little bit of time rearranging to start the clock soon after the game ended.
