Kamatari watched Noah walk past him and decided he wanted to visit an old friend. After a few minutes of walking, he entered the Jade Dragon Emporium. "Horus?" Kama asked, looking around the store.

"Guys, you wanna see a cool trick?"

Retlaw grabbed Yensids paw, looking at him with a big smile. The rabbit sighed and nodded, making Retlaw smile wider. The mouse danced on the spot before running a ways away from Yemsid. He pulled his brush from his pocket while Yensid allowed electricity to flow through him.

They bowed to one another, the sapphire gem on Retlaws cloak turning to paint and shifting within its golden case. The ruby gem on Yensids cloak began to glow and crackle with electricity. The two began to dance toward one another, Yensid literally break-dancing while Retlaw was more so disco dancing. The two met in the center and Yensid propelled them high into the air using his rabbit strength and helicopter ears.

Anyone with extremely, and I mean extremely, good eyes could see that when the two reached the highest point of their jump, they had turned into complete lightning and paint for a millisecond. Retlaw swung his brush over their heads, creating an arc. With on paw around Retlaw, Yensid zapped the paint and it suddenly began to pulsate with color. The two landed on the ground safely.

The two looked at one another, still in each other's embrace, before they started laughing, giggling, and snorting. Yensid kissed his cheek, earning a laugh.

"There's my Retty Teddy."

"Yensid! You're embar-"

The paint fell after after while, staining the two rainbow colors.

Noah's panting had slowed down a little, as he was slowly but surely regenerating his Aura. He was still nervous as fudge though. Oh sweet blimey, I launched that guy across the street. I, I launched him across the dang street. I launched him across the street and now those guys are gonna pound my face in. If a crater was enough to get those guys to fight each other, what I did is gonna cause a flippity riot. His panting slowed down some more, though he was clearly still really tired. Maybe I should mentally look out, see if any of them have found me yet. He started scanning, struggling because he hadn't regenerated a lot of Aura yet, and tried to see if he could feel anything that felt like the others. After finding nothing, he was about to stop, when he felt something odd. Against his better judgment, he reached out and connected with the chinchilla from before. He got a fuzzy glimpse of what she was seeing before he shut it off. He wasn't ready for another set of senses, even if it was really fuzzy. Seeing out of two different eyes felt wrong to him, like he was seeing out of his toes.

"Sometimes I don't." she commented, looking at rig. With his apology, it was safe to assume whatever he had done had stopped. Sandy started lowering her mental defenses, letting the other thoughts in. The first presence to return felt like the eye of a hurricane over the water, the next light snowfall upon ice, both familiar. Not feeling her range being stretched past what she was trying to reach for, she dropped the 'wall' the rest of the way.

The presences that returned to her mached up with her usual range, but she couldn't remember which one was the cat. She wasn't locked onto it him any more. There was however one anomaly... something at the edge of her range, the area where things became indistinct, felt different. Or maybe she was just seeing it differently. The presence seemed to be searching...

What is that? She wondered, reaching out for it. As soon as she made contact, she could feel the presence much more clearly. It was the cat from before, but she could feel his presence as if he were standing right next to her... This was new, this hadn't happened before.

She was getting a distorted image of what he was seeing, a small grassy space, but his focus was elsewhere. He seemed under a lot of stress, and afraid...

He's afraid of us? Why?

Amanda giggled slightly at Kaylee's observation of the two but sighed as she thought back through the morning's events, "I just went for a walk. We moved into a small ranch just outside of town and I wanted to get to know this place. And have time to myself, as the mother will be visiting soon." She grasped her ice sphere and gazed into, the coldness of it and the snowman inside calming her from her own thoughts, "And yes, I do believe I'd do well to have an escort. Seeing just how poorly I handled that previous sordid affair..."

"Absolutely," Kaylee said, rising to her full, unimpressive height and stretching. "Anyone want to join two cool cats in our wanderings?" She looked around. "Preferably before people show up to investigate lightning and tornadoes in an alley."

They got down on all fours, somehow shaking their fur back into place. Retlaw grabbed his tail and straightened it back to its thin shape, while Yensid removed his head to brush out his head fur. He put his head back in place and walked back over, still slightly poofy. The two turned to Rig.

Noah had disconnected the link with Sandy, so her attempts to communicate came out as tiny little whispers that he understood as much as he understood politics. He wouldn't have even had THAT if linking with her hadn't left a slight mark on his mind. He had charged a fair amount of his Aura, not enough to do another "long jump," as he called it, but enough that he didn't need to pant any more. He stayed by the tree though, as he felt he had a relatively decent hiding spot, three blocks down and around the right corner.

Bianca nodded to Furettia and was ready to go, "Well, that's too bad, I'm not sure I could explain what you would want to know." Furettia stood there a little puzzled on how Horus had known her name, they never exchanged a single sentence yet. "So where are we going next?" Furettia looked at Bianca, a little surprised, "I don't know, either keep looking around here or start looking around out there." Bianca crossed her arms, "I'd say here, but I want to go home." Kaylee looked towards the shops, then towards Rig and Sandy. She sighed and pulled a heavy copper coin some three inches in diameter from her pocket. It had a raised picture of a tri-pyramid on one side and knotted tails as the picture on the back, along with unintelligible script. "Heads we follow them," she said, indicating the pyramid side. She flipped the coin and let it land as she wasn't going to let such a heavy coin hit her hand. She picked it up after seeing the heads show up. "We follow at a distance, yeah?" She chuckled. "We need to know where Captain Hunk lives anyhow, don't we?" She pocketed the coin again and began to head after Rig.

She seems to have started rambling about some sort of shopping trip gone wrong now, but the pace of her words and the number of times she segways into a random anecdote or nonsequietor is making it extremely hard to follow.

Rig looked ahead of him to where they were walking, thinking to himself about how to approach this, 'Calm, shield? Yes, a shield would be most beneficial here. Nonthreatening and friendly..."
