Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Nice job Buster... Yellow, that's an interesting choice, so used to seeing red or something... But you pulled it off, I'm so jealous...

Possibly, like I said, the great thing about terrible art is that it can be taken in as any way and not be wrong, hehe... Though I didn't realize that the whatever it is 'mirror desk thing', looked like a computer screen, hehe...RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:Civ: are they sure they aren't just looking at a computer desktop?

Re: Buster's Art Challenge
You know, this sounds like decent practice for my own works, especially as I can't draw people or have a decent fashion sense.
Huh, this might be harder than I thought.

Re: Buster's Art Challenge
what's the point?
I can't get into it most weeks, it's not fun for me like this, because the challenge isn't there with such a long time limit... and you're literally the only other person here most of the time... So the appeal of 'seeing what everybody came up with' is kinda diminished when there isn't much of an 'everybody'.
Are the prompts bad or something?

Re: Buster's Art Challenge
Ah, figured that was the reason, what a shame... Well, it was fun for me if that helps, sorry it didn't take off for you. It was a pleasure to be able to submit my bad artwork here... Thank you Buster for presenting the opportunity to try and let me improve my art skill.
And to me, the prompts were amazing, it got me thinking of trying to come up with something clever.

More like my work schedule isn't giving me the time. Lately I've been doing afternoon shifts on Friday, followed by morning shift on Saturday. 2-10, then 7-4.

Re: Buster's Art Challenge
It's not the prompts, its just that people have different schedules and not everybody can come here and draw within the time limit. Such a shame, as it was nice to see some art work.
