Alright, we can drop the stereotype talk now.

Well, FancyHat (got a preferred short name?), I did make this chart regarding weapons a while ago. It's complete, so you can see who has what.

Just call me FH, and thanks for that. The suggestion is really just an enemy if nothing else I'd just like to see Poachers as an enemy even if they don't drop anything. I like how you are organizing the weapons too as it seems way easier for you to handle development. You do not exactly need to carry out the request, I'm just happy it actually got considered since this is really the only other time I had even small attempt at suggestions to a game (except for helping a friend make a flash game once in which I came up with attack patterns for one of the bosses in the game. He never really finished the entire project and we ended up scrapping it.) have something in it...

Also, trench knife design on some of the knuckledusters look awesome(Specifically because they look a lot like This lovely standard issue US WWI Trench Dagger with curved blades of awesomeness.)

But yeah, if ya decide on the suggestion or not is fine, but if ya need an idea for any weaponry I could help in ways of searching up things to use. (Studying multiple different types of weaponry used in any form is a lot more useful than people would think ) *Takes out pocket watch* welp my duty has been done, now I must be off. I already made Blue's drop item, remember? It was the blueberry air freshener that was included with the images of Tybalt's collar, Efran's spear, and Jenny's bandanna. It was Chaoko's idea, but I ran with it.

Only certain boss drop I can think of is Photo's headdress. I'll get on that in the next couple of days. Big events at work the next two days, and maybe a big event for Labor Day. I don't know if I'm working that yet.

EDIT: I thought of a couple other drops:

Nevermore: Silver Ring with gem studded inside. She could be designed with the ring around one of her feet.
Monolith: chunk of the slab. I could write "inscriptions" on it, or I could go the extra several miles and actually put something that could be deciphered.
Nue & Olde: Polyhedron dice. I thought it wouldn't really fit, as I would think that those are more of a Western RPG thing, but maybe he held on to some when he gave the genre a shot, basically something of sentimental value.

Don't know on Ophois or Lacert. Band leader could simply whatever instrument they use. I took some photos of a guitar place I went to when I tagged along with my brother to get his bass repaired, and saw some really neat designs! Don't think Bruno should have one, as the battle just ends when she leaves.

Vacation starts next week. I thought of another neat idea.

Since we're mostly waiting things out, i decided to make a mini-game for us to play in that little testing ground zone i showed a long time ago. It'll be a tower with 100 floors and the goal is to reach the top. Every 10 floors will have cory in it. Whatever we want to add to the game but are uncertain about it will be added to this tower. You can also switch the party to whoever you want every 10 floors. I might even use this idea in the final game if it works out good enough.

I think that I like that idea. Lots of placeholders, though. I'm just looking forward to which images you plan to use

That reminds me once again of Strange Journey. There's a peculiar pillar in the first area of the game, and if you return during any subsequent playthrough, it activates as a boss rush. All of the bosses are whatever level you fight them at in the main story mode.

ALL OF THEM.

Go in unprepared for ALL of them, you will die. A voice says that it's a simulation, but it also warns that death is very real. Die on any of them, it's game over. At least you get a chance to quit the challenge after each battle, and you get massive XP and money rewards, depending on which one you stopped on.

Also, sorry for not getting on the sketches. I got Skyrim recently shut up, I know I'm a few years late on that and most of my free time is spent on that. It just looks beautiful, too, with a ton to explore. I've barely actually done the story missions, there's just so much to do!

On the sketch note, I found a font that I can use for the slab that's dropped from the Monolith. It's easy to decipher, trust me.

Anyways, nbd man, you're like the most prolific on the team, you deserve a got break. And I totally approve that you chose Skyrim to play, Elder Scrolls is one of my favorite videogame franchises, I spent a lot of time in Skyrim.

Exactly, better mods to with more diversity, anyways we're getting off topic again. I guess I am just a magnet for that, So the rifle should totally not be equipable if that's still in argument because...well how would housepets know how to use a rifle?

It was a double barrel shotgun(literally one of the simplest firearms to use.)

..Technically I have, but it was on account of a very, very hair trigger and the fact it knocked the gun over.

There's also a great number of other reasons as to why we shouldn't add it, we planned on using HP! objects, and that may lead us away from a PG setting.

...Ya really don't even have to worry since the shotgun was shot down(..puns!) Quickly and effeciently. But still 4 of the firearms in game are based around actual bullet firing guns (quite literally using bullets). Also housepets strip where shady mctrenchcoat comes out with a Remington 870 Hunting shotgun planning on blasting up his own home before getting a painful taste of a Broom's wooden end to his everything by Grape. Honestly I don't really care if certain things get dropped, I just wanted to see Poachers as an enemy.

Um, Person, you HAVE seen my weapons for nearly everyone, right? Very few are from the comic. Even included guns and bombs. Heck, even Max would realistically get into a lot of trouble for carrying illegal weapons.

Also, we never limited ourselves to "comic-only" items. I'm just using the comic as a base for a lot of things, but I'm not letting that stop me from going off the rails, both design and story-wise. Also, I doubt actually showing a gun would affect a rating all too much. As FH mentioned, guns have been seen in the comic.

Well, I'm not totally against poachers. My issue was relying on stereotypes, which is when I stepped in on the conversation, remember?

I mean Bubba and Jeb can either stay or go it's your choice Rock. I was mostly refering 5o the regular poachers, but as I'm saying your the one in charge here, I'm not going to be like "put this in here now" it's not my place. I know I was a bit too on the edge using "sterotype" as a description, I just really couldn't think of much else to describe the way they looked.

Finally got an outline. I'm really losing my touch on these things. It's astonishing that I can't make a slab of stone "look" like a slab of stone. But I ended up making a ring. Made a simple model, took a photo, and worked with that. I don't give rotoscoping enough credit. Also didn't feel the same issues when lining this. Guess I feel more comfortable using something that I at least made myself.

Yeah, not sure if I should be surprised that someone made this an actual usable font. I considered flipping it both vertically and horizontally, decided against it. I also almost put "Read Housepets!" as the inscription, that lasted all of a split second.
