wonder what Max has been betting on. my guess is how many times bino will get punched in the face in a given week.
Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
I understand Max. Books are expensive. Especially if you want the more durable hard covers.

What?!
How could any responsible parent turn down that offer?

What is it with you and books, Max?
By the way, is it just me, or does Max look more feminine in this strip?

I know your intentions were good Max... ish
Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
Aww, no Maxwell babysitter
On the brighter side of things: A) his fur got much darker! <3 A sign of age? Maturity? ...Arrogance?!?
B) He did get there first at least. x3
Also - come on, Max. You could at least try to behave like you are a inspirational babysitter =P

Probably betting on the next character to bite it in the Pridelands series.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:wonder what Max has been betting on. my guess is how many times bino will get punched in the face in a given week.

Now, for some reason, I think Grape would be an wonderful sitter.
So the wolves, Fox and Max are ruled out!
Book your bets for the sitter here!

So, it seems, at some point offscreen
King has been where pets scream
Or does Bailey mean he remembers the one
Who came by Wolf House and didn’t have fun?
Now he’s sat there, holding an audition
To find those who can sit without commission.
These are all set up by the pups uncle Fox?
Why’s he got the number of this Feline sexy socks?
(Well, Grape thinks he is - sometimes)
Is Fox using him to get the bookie for his crimes?
Who’ll be next by the street-side vendor?
Who’ll finally sit for the Dogs of splendor?

Look at Max, rocking that hourglass figure!
Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
Max looks somewhat... Affeminate. And old. Maybe because of the ambient lighting, the lack of colour on his eyes and the crotch.

You think he would learn not to just say that outright by now.

Also that the new art style is using incredibly less shading and outlining of objects(characters, houses, etc.). Could also be the fact that its winter and everything is considerably lighter than normal. Not A Furry wrote:Max looks somewhat... Affeminate. And old. Edit: I do love the fact that the bite mark on his ear is consistently and more noticeable.

I'm happy to see Max again, but he look so different. Like, you can barely see the turquoise in his eyes, I love that color. His fur's darker, but that's okay, but what is it with his figure? Is this more realistic, meant to look more cat like?

Wonder if there is an organization called PetBets that caters exclusively to pets betting their allowances.

I did get the impression that he's been bulking up a bit, but his hair is really different nowSuperStar wrote:I'm happy to see Max again, but he look so different. I don't think this is the case, but he might just be getting old.Cyon wrote:I did get the impression that he's been bulking up a bit, but his hair is really different nowSuperStar wrote:I'm happy to see Max again, but he look so different. Good to help King to find a sitter, Fox and Bailey, and I see the unintended pun. You must be desperate to do that, King. Ah, you're always fearing nonexistent troubles for your puppies. Oh, it's nice to see Maxwell again. You should pay for that, King. Huh? You bet with someone about being able to be a dog sitter, Max? You can't do that, we know you... Well, you suddenly lost your bet.

Gambling is illegal depending on the state, county, or parish. Even then, gambling laws are strict so in a business sense, it wouldn't be worth it even if they could do it with the type of expenses it would take to run an organization Like that...Income wouldn't be worth it. Unless the Ferrets or any other uber rich pets make something like that, No one else will..And knowing the Miltons, They most likely would..GarrisonSkunk wrote:Wonder if there is an organization called PetBets that caters exclusively to pets betting their allowances.

Breaking news! Max has a twin sister!
(Or got a sex change. None of or analysts could tell.)

There's a hole in my head where the rain comes in. Also, the RS is so much better than the WRX STi.
Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
I don't really see it. I mean, he's looking a tad more androgynous, but I think that's just because the style is becoming more realistic (and he's not muscular )
Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
I personally think it makes him more flirty. Like he knows he's the hot cat in town. Something pretty much i remember an attitude that i enjoyed about him from the beginning :3

I think he looks good. I wonder how many pets will show up until they decide for one baby sitter. I hope as many, so we can see them all in the new style

Re: 2017/01/27 - For the Book Club
Well, in all fairness just because he gambles doesn't mean he would be a bad sitter. We have to look at all his other past antics to come to that conclusion
Max looks good in the newest variant of the art style. in a way its sorta a throwback to when they did the haunted house bet just a bit more detailed.

Now all we need is a petition to add GC as a canon character.

Why does that colour scheme look so awesome?

Ten seconds later...
"sorry peanut, i'll find another way to pay you back for those pridelands books..."
"There's no rush! "

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Would be funny if the bookie in question was one of King's pups. Hah.

That would be the very likely person here, but i can just imagine King realizing they are paying Max only for his pups to get their money back from him when Max loses the bet (which would be funny to hear - they bet he could be their babysitter)

Maybe Delousional Steve would be a good choice if he's finished scaring the Roos.
