Go upstairs and get Mom and Dad. We need to get them ASAP. We should also have Dad grab the gun. We need skilled hands to have it, not leave it in the hands of someone who doesn't even know what it is.
I still feel like the path to the right was the correct one, but whatever. I'll get over it.

There will be a summary after every chapter, or perhaps every major portion as well. After Chapter 1 (which is almost over) there will be an easier way to read through the story that's been told and future updates without having to sift through a bunch of other posts. ;)
Ok, Thanks

Go upstairs. Wake the parents. Tell them about the damage outside an that Charlie is missing. Have Mom call the police.

You rush upstairs without even a second thought, immediately after climbing the stairs you stand before your parent's room. They're still having a heated discussion?! Not much time must have passed since diner...

What now? It might be bad to interrupt, but do you really have time for this sort of thing?!

1) Ask Mom and Dad for help!
2) Go to your room.
3) Listen.
4) Head back downstairs.
5) Leave the house to look for Charlie.
6) Improvise.

normally in this situation i would save, listen to the conversation, reload and then do something...

but that doesn't really work here.

I'd say we ask for help. We are still on a time crunch, and now both Charley and Bravo are out there. Open the door and explain that Charley ran away through the window and Bravo is out looking for him. Tell them about the claw marks. I'd also say tell them about the torn up power box, but Bravo discovered that after Charley left.

Improvise is an action of infinite possibilities. It allows you to have the characters to (or at least try to do) anything you can think of so long as enough people agree. When selecting Improvise, you have to say what it is you want to do. While there are multiple set ways to get through certain scenes, there might also be other secret ways that can be done through the improvise option if you think hard enough. Like all actions, Improvised actions can come at no cost or a heavy cost.

You attempt to burst into the room and scream for help, but the door is locked! You then do the only other logical thing you can think to do--

Echo: MOM! DAD! IT'S CHARLIE, HE'S--

Mom: Echo?! What are you doing up this late! We sent you to bed for a reason, now go! Me and your father are having a very important talk!

Echo: NO! LISTEN! BRAVO--

Image

Dad: ECHO! We are not going to talk about this with you three again tonight, especially if you're still going to start kicking and screaming about it! We trained you better than this! GO to BED!

Echo: (That... was a mean way to say that. Why would they say that? What did I do?)

Image

T-they seem mad, maybe you shouldn't ask them... but you need them! Charlie needs them! Charlie needs you!

1) Beg for Mom and Dad's help.
2) Go to your room...
3) Head back downstairs.
4) Leave the house to look for Charlie
5) Improvise

That is a joke... unless it isn't.
Let's just yell that Charlie is missing, get straight to the point.

Say, very clearly, audibly, and concisely, with nothing added, "Charley's missing" so that you get the point across before they have the chance to interrupt.

Improv: Throw the vase at the door. Ostensibly it's to get their attention, but honestly? those two are horrible human beings. Also breaking things is cathartic and we need to get echo's mood back up.

I think the way he should say is like "Missing! Charlie's gone missing!" That way it's less likely for them to interrupt. Also, maybe throw an insult at them. It might help Echo's mental state, and it would probably make us more satisfied.

4, Leave the house to look for Charlie while screaming "Charlie's missing"

Also on an art note, it's great how you captured the emotion in that picture of Echo banging the door, nailed the feeling of desperation/urgency. Great work !

I'd say to shout that Charlie's missing, and that if they don't care - fine, you'll find him yourself! Then run out and break the power box (let's not break the vase - they'll just get more mad) to show them you mean business and to get them outside to see what the heck is going on. Ultimate chain, GO!

While braking the power box would get their attention, I'm worried it'll waste time when they might listen if we just yell "Charlie's missing!" However, it's the one that has the highest chance of success, so I'ma go with breaking the power box, then tell them Charlie's missing when they come out to see what's going on.

Wild wanton destruction doesn't actually calm a person. In fact, it increases anger. There have been experiments on this.

I say that Echo simply shouts "Charlie's gone!" and goes to help Bravo. Breaking things likely won't do any good.

(Also, they're not horrible human beings. While it may have been a bit harsh, they're simply disciplining the pups. They're unaware that anything is wrong and—as they don't have information that we have—wrongly assume that Echo is just throwing a fit when actually a life hangs in the balance; this is called "dramatic irony".)

I have to agree with Naro. Destroying something out of anger isn't going to get them to listen to us. It will just get them angrier. I stand by my initial response, that we should tell them "Charley's missing" and then I suppose beg for help.

It'll require too much talking to convince them to leave their room; they're already not listening to what we have to say - do you really think they'll comprehend us shouting that Charlie's missing and do anything about it unless something else grabs their attention as well? The power going out would be enough reason for them to go outside - seeing the damage to the trash can and the power box and seeing you've gone into the woods would probably be enough for them to take you seriously and look for Charlie. If that doesn't do it, they really are terrible human beings.

I like the idea of shouting "Missing! Charlie's missing!", but I don't think breaking the power box is going to help us. If they go outside and check the power box (which they may not rush to) they are likely to be distracted by that and still not notice that Charlie is missing. Also, let's try to avoid wrecking valuable property. They are kind of in a bad financial state.
