Photoshopping Housepets!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Finally back.
Got Sleet in on this! Or as best as I could. This was as tedious as I remembered. Tried doing most of the lining with the mouse instead of the curve line tool, and actually feels less intensive. I'll see about doing that in the future.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
There are so so SO many people in this that you may have to do a cast list or at least tag them so I know who is who.
Ha ha! Rocky seems to be the most optimistic out of them all despite the fact that last time he screwed around, two green cats got banned. XD

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well someone needs to be the optimistic one.
I guess it would help when I manage to get a better group shot, but the secondary "rescue" team are all forum moderators. I unfortunately don't have the resources in this arc to include Arcwolf, Diss, or Rick.

Furr goes FLOOF!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Yeah I will admit it seems strange to see Furr without his pants, his amulet and his hat.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I dislike altering ears enough, there's only so much extra I was up to doing. Besides, I already did an edit of Hlaoroo with the last real update, didn't add his hat, pants, or amulet then either.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, they're fun so I hope you know your labors are appreciated.

This was weird to work with.

Is that Arthur from the movie "The Sword and the Stone"? It looks so much like him and I knew I saw that picture somewhere before with his appearance but couldn't put my finger on it initially so I'm wondering if I might be correct.
I haven't scene the movie since I was 4 so that is about 22 years ago.

Hey D-Rock, two things,
One: can you put all those comics with the forum people in one place (and in order)
Two: how can I get in it? (Note: completely understand if you don't want me in it.)

Thanks. Yeah, that's Arthur from Sword in the Stone. Haven't finished it yet, myself, but a former coworker showed me the screenshot as a meme.
And Hawkfang, there's really only two things needed to get in; an image of your character for reference, and a base that can be used in the comic. That's really it.

I didn't know you were taking requests for people to be in the comic. I will have to give you a reference for my character and see if you want to use her.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I never ask, but I'll admit, might give me a reason to include Joeys group. That was a hurdle I wasn't looking forward to working around, but this might help.

and yes, i'm still a dragon. given this started before any of you had seen what i look like as a cat, it was that or the cybernetic ferret nobody likes drawing.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Oh, right. I've, uh, only been really keeping track of my own edits at the start of this.
Well, guess have to fix that, eventually.

I'll take a look through my DA favorites and post the picture here.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'm only exaggerating a little.
Right, that third panel at the end mentions characters I've not found a use or story for, for the most part. Fun Fact, "Sudden Penguin" was initially going to be a presented "alter ego."
Also, vector lines are awesome to work with! It's how I was able to copy the third panel so many times. Could have done more to streamline it, but next time I'll give it a shot.

And that is why SuperStar isn't as active here anymore as he used to be.

In reality, it's technical problems with the site that he can't get on.

Yeah I know. I was joking when I posted that. If anybody chases people away from the forums, it would be me and my stupidity.

you cut that out. having a jarring sense of humor does not count as being stupid.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Yeah I know. I was joking when I posted that. If anybody chases people away from the forums, it would be me and my stupidity.

I'm pretty sure I might have something to do somehow with people leaving the forum. I have had it pointed out to me that my humor can get on a lot of people's nerves.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Very much agreed here You are not driving people away. Your obsessive behavior can be irksome at times, but people deal with small annoyances all the time and continue doing the things they love anyway. Quit listening to the small number of people telling you that you're a big problem, and start listening the much larger group of people who are happy you're here (warts and all)Buster wrote:you cut that out

Well I will try to keep that in mind but for someone who is an emotional wreck who can't control her emotions it might be hard.
Also when it comes to stupidity: Me>Hawkfang42 times 500. Just pointing that out.
Anyway if anybody is interested, here is my character.

Oh, she has a neat design. Not entirely sure when or where to implement her, and wondering who'd be the best base.
Speaking of, may end up grafting edits from various sources in the future. Something I haven't done in a really long time.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well in the past I tried to make her a mutt though I actually have to admit that I based her on my purebred Pekingese dog so she would be a little dog for sure. Since its been a long time since I used her and I FORGOT the specifics behind her except her name, I'm just gonna say she is a Pekingese then. And if you want to use her, maybe use Tarot since Pomeranians and Pekingese seem to be about the same size.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Huh, alright, though that would make including her in this current deal difficult, as Tarot is already being used for Hlaoroo. I'll see what can be done, though. I might use someone else, so heights will vary. For example, Brent isn't that huge.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'm just giving an example. When I was doing my Foxsha/Elevin fan fiction a while back I never really nailed down her height. All I knew is that she would be shorter than Kevin but I was never sure which height and I think at certain points I had her just slightly taller than Tarot and King.

joey is relatively short, and you only need to edit his head due to this arc's costumes.

As long as Elena isn't standing side-by-side with Tarot, it should be fine so she isn't towering over here. XD
Fun fact, I planned to have Elena become friends with Tarot and Sabrina in my fanfic. That never got to that point do to...unfortunate circumstances.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
i think the only unavoidable scenes like that are in the final chamber, and they're on a mostly black background if i remember right, so scale adjustments shouldn't be as hard as they would be in front of, say, complex brickwork.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'm not picky and won't be made if you can't use her anyway. I doubt I'm gonna do anything else with her. I'm just not motivated to look for another writing partner. And that is sad.
Plus Rick pretty much beat it into the plot that Kevin and Sasha ARE good for each other besides Sasha swapping spit with Fox. (Though I could easily change her interest over to Fox from Kevin since Fungo hasn't been properly established. Same with Mungo though I would have to write around the him being too strong for his own good. Now I'm rambling. )

Its normal for me to be mistaken and misread as well as forget things since I have long accepted I'm not that bright.
Though that is probably why people lime me around.

Considering how common wolf OCs are (Rocky himself is a wolf), I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Nothing wrong with a reminder.
