Sounds wise to me..........trekkie wrote:From what I gathered from my friends who are into RPG, (I do it only occasionally), a lot of them like the fourth edition because most of my friends are into tactics and combat. They've said the Fifth edition is easier to learn for new players, though, so that is a consideration if you are introducing people to D & D. I was unable to find any strong opinions one way or the other on Dungeons and Doggies. As for me, I'd say go for the fourth just because you said you have most of the things for it already.

Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,
From what I've seen and heard, 5th Edition is pretty much always preferred over 4th Edition. 4th Edition has more content, considering it's older, but most people either moved on to 5th Edition or back to 3.5, which is also popular (and is generally compatible with Pathfinder, which was modeled after 3.5).
I play 5th Edition and I recommend it, unless you're really into the nitty gritty of game mechanics and stats and stuff. And if you are, 4th Edition wouldn't be good either.

Guess you've settled it, Sleet.

I've got some old tech too. Less impressive is my iPhone 5c, which I inherited from my mom as my first phone when she got a 7. Even though I now have a Galaxy A50 I still keep it for the music apps that aren't available on Android.
I think my gen 4 iPod is in purgatory, because sometimes it turns on when charged and sometimes not. Though when alive, its performance is terrible.

I had a 5th generation iPod Touch but I downgraded to a 4th generation because the 5th generation no matter what I did wouldn't hold a charge.

I have a 4th Generation iPod Nano. Still works fairly well.

At the end of the day, if it works, it works. I remember I had a Razr as my second phone, first was a Nokia brick, got one of those decorative shells for it. A very nice ruby red. Had a slide phone after that, didn't get a smartphone until maybe three or four years ago?

I can see Max overhearing Bino complain about the Good Ol' Dog's Club and decide to make one just to spite Bino.
And of course, all the dogs decide to join that instead because they are tired of Bino and want a house to be dropped on him.

Max, to show there are no hard feelings about the dog dating Sabrina, and to spite Bino further, names Fido to Treasurer.
On another subject, does anyone have any recommendations for a good anime, (nothing too heavy ) ?

I’ve seen that and liked it. I actually meant TV shows, (I should have been more specific) but I guess what I’m trying to say is nothing too graphic.

I used to watch anime but I stopped when I realize that I was shipping OCs with the main characters in the show.
Well not really why I stopped, but it was still a problem.

I'm not much conversant in anjme. My youngest was interested in it for a while so I followed it with her, but it never much held my interest. No slight intended to fans.

No, I agree. I've worked my way up to global mod equivalent (though I'm more or less an Admin in all but official title) on another site that's experienced the same reduction in general forum use. We're currently trying to figure out how to kinda breath a little life back into it.

Good to... uh, be back I guess?
I really need to catch up on the comic and stick around. Then I guess I could say good to be back.
I'm glad to see so many familiar faces still around!

Been seeing bits and pieces of the manga and anime, love the facial expressions. I must say, I'm impressed by the fact that Haru, with those simple black dot eyes, is just as expressive and cartoonish as everyone else. Really does help balance out the much more graphic parts of the story.

Not until the Telegraph came along. Until then, we had to send morse code by tapping our fingers on flat rocks. Needless to say, the sound didn't carry far but our nails were just divine!Amazee Dayzee wrote:You mean you don't remember it? I thought it was prevalent back when you were growing up.
