I think I heard that song more playing Guitar Hero 4 than I did at any other time. That and Beat It were like the two songs everyone agreed on and wanted to play the most.

Yeah, I like to play music games, but I hate when people always pick a certain song, like on GH I hated how I couldn't go an online play without playing Hotel California, it's a good song, but just got annoying after hearing it so much...Sleet wrote:I think I heard that song more playing Guitar Hero 4 than I did at any other time. All sonic music is awesome. Except for Big's theme in SA1. I hate that song.
Vitas is pretty darn awesome. I wish I was as cool as him.

Wait, does the Housepets site support music?

Here's my favourite Motley Crue song anyway

Re: Music.
The only genres I've found myself unable to find something to like in are like...uh, Tejano, and Screamo (the actual first wave screamo of the 90's). And to the latter it's mostly a fault of screamo being one of those genres that just hates studio production, hence even if they might play and "sing" well they sound like crap because their recording hardware is crap and they're playing in a garage with terrible acoustics.Sleet wrote:More importantly, what do you like?
Which is why I ask everybody else. Like a genre? I probably like it too.
I also don't want to be that guy who keeps linking to music everybody hates, when I can easily be that guy who links to music everybody likes. :p

Lol. I like Deathgrind, but I like Goregrind way more. Cybergrind is also awesome, although it tends to be hard to find.Sleet wrote:Deathgrind.

There's a problem though with linking to Deathgrind. How many Deathgrind songs have SFW lyrics? Not many I don't think.
Besides, you don't actually like it.

Yeah, there's a good reason I didn't provide a link. It makes sense why it's like that, considering the genre has its roots in trying to be as unpleasant as possible. Which makes me honestly wonder why anyone can like it.

And me, I like it because I think it sounds good. I think most things sound good. Different genres just sound good for different reasons.

I mean period. From what I've read it seems like the pioneers were trying to offend the ears (as well as everything else).

If that's how you guys feel then, allow me to flood this post with several links:
Tactical Sekt
Akala
Culcha Candela
Blackmore's Night
Austrian Death Machine
She
Die Sektor
Kosaka Riyu
Tristania
:wumpscut:
Stray Cats
Reveille
Haste the Day
Machinae Supremacy
Afrob
E.S. Posthumus
Lucky Boys Confusion
Peter Fox
Groove Coverage
Okay I'm done. I was limited by the PG-13 rating, and also with what quality I could find (some really old stuff had terrible quality so I didn't bother). Also keep in mind some of these videos are awful. Also I tried to post things that aren't super well known. Of course these are all well known within their genres, but the average radio-listener shouldn't know about most of these.

there's a really odd mix, since i kind of just posted whatever as opposed to attempting to be (relatively) obscure. things like kisschasy and the temper trap are a common radio play here, and i'm pretty sure cage is popular over there even if nobody seems to know him here.
(it seems more than one video features paprika. cool.)
