According to my birth certificate, my mental processes, my hormones, my physical appearance, etc, I am a GUY! And I like it!

I'm going to have to go with male.

I'm a bit shocked that there aren't more females around here. I thought that there would have been at least half and half.

I'm a female by the way.

It seems like the nerdier sides of the internet tend to attract more males, alas. But it's always good knowing that the girls around here aren't alone! :3

There are those who really don't or they don't want to identify them selves in either of the two choices.

Not only are there people who don't want to disclose their gender, there are also people who don't even fit in the gender binary in the first place, and aren't fully accurately described as either "male" or "female."

I'm pretty sure his point was that it seems statistically unlikely that all or possibly even most of those 11 actually have a non-binary gender, and therefore they are likely imitating Sleet's ambiguous gender (or just don't want to share, although since it's an anonymous and entirely voluntary poll why would you bother?)
I don't know the actual statistics, so it may be more reasonable than seems intuitive.

Speaking of sockpuppets...I wonder if anyone has more than one account here on the forums

Oh, there are some who do. I know of a few people. (At least two are inactive now though. And one asked for permission from the mods before making it.) Before I was a mod, there was actually someone who had two accounts and would have full conversations with himself in public. He ended up feeling bad about it and admitted to doing it. I don't remember what the mod's response to that was.

... That's kind of pathetic.

I know a few people who would actually do that also.
