What qualifies as an ugly name?
I don't know. Just names that sound weird and stuff. I apologize for my improper use of the adjective ugly.

I have been a quiet reader for a long time, but the fact that we will get the stubby legged husky puppies is just too much overload on my system to lurk in the background any longer. So excited~! Keep up the awesome stories, Rick!

My guess is, the system has a subroutine that automagically moves the comic to the 'Old Comic' archive on the next publication day.

Of course, the 'subroutine' may be a person, not software...

Oh, and Corgi-Huskies are adorabobble, especially when they're puppies!

Not all dogs. I had a dog once, he'd eat onions like it was bacon, only toxic thing about it concerning him was the foul gases he'd produce.
gertok9 wrote:Is seriously nobody going to mention how an expecting mother went on wild amusement park rides like 5 pages ago? Isn't that bad for the child(ren)?
Its not recommended, but in the early stages of pregnancy its not something that too many are concerned with.

Prediction for next full arc: All about Bailey's pregnancy following her and King through the whole time.

The next arc is a Grape and Peanut arc. (I think that's what's happening)

This is my biggest worry. He may try to sell/give away the puppies and King will have to either give in in the end and deal with it or have a huge fight on his hands that will cause him and Bailey huge amounts of stress and pain.

Welcome to the forum! its nice to have some new people around!

Also, I don't think Bill would do anything like that. I'm sure that Keene made sure that there were some rights that animals had when they got pregnant. Also, these puppies are his grandchildren too (and Fox's first cousin once removed).

As a vet student I can tell you that it is all dogs. You'll get away with it in low doses but in high doses or if they eat them for a prolonged period it causes haemolytic anaemia which basically means it destroys their red blood cells. Some dogs may be able to continue to produce enough red blood cells to make up for the lost ones but many will not and will die.

But MaddyL is right. It must be different for cartoon dogs. :)
Amazee Dayzee wrote:I'm sure that Keene made sure that there were some rights that animals had
I'm sure he probably made sure he had some rights too them too. How much money do you think he's going to make from this?

Hopefully nobody. Too much of that kinda takes away from the lighthearted youthfulness of these characters. King's a bit of an outsider so he gets a pass.

There is slight foreshadowing that the Sandwich family might go down this road as well. To be honest, though? I hope that's all we get afterwards. Between the Milton wolfs, Bailey/King and the Sandwich family, they are the most family orientated pets we've seen in the comic so far. It wouldn't hurt if something were to come out of it, but at the same time? We can't have the characters spoiled.

Unless somehow the bigglesworths cats suddenly start growing in huge numbers, then Rick is just messing with us. X3
