It's weird when you mention names like that that felt new a couple months ago and I realize they now feel like those old people of yore that people talk about but people haven't met. What's weirder is when some people remind me that Psyke is one of those such people to them

A multiple of 3 plus another multiple of 3 can only equal a multiple of three when adding with integers.
As for 4A+2B=16
A=2
B=4

3*X+3*Y will always equall 3*Z as long as X and Y are natural numbers (no decimal and above zero)

heh, it makes sense to me now, don't worry about it. Just ashamed I didn't realize it in the first place. That being said, what if A and B were't natural numbers? Would it be possible to have that equation?

If that were the case then it would just be 4A+2A and 3A+3A or (3A)2.

And if A=2.66 than 4A+2A=15.96 and (3A)2=15.96 but I suppose you could just round it up to 16.

People only say that .99999999[...]=1 because it's close, but no matter how many 9's you add to it, no matter how many digits, it will never become 1. It doesn't irritate me that people can consider .99999999 as 1, it irritates me that people think that it HAS to be 1.
