my guess was some kind of fox.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

So... This popped up on my facebook timeline because a fellow Housepets fan I'm friends with there liked it. Not sure who did this though, sorry, as the page didn't credit anyone.

Well that is cute and the picture of Pete is the most adorable he has been in Gryphon form.

I think he was just being sarcastic with the other game so he didn't give himself away.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I think Grape could use one of these for those sleepless nights, probably with a voice chip.
Edited the Karishad doll from the Christmas thing a couple years back.

Times weren't always nice for the two of them.

Don't take random items that are not normally there, especially in regards to snack foods.

Yup. It was my brother. He has a habbit of grabbing whatever was in the fridge for himself. This particular event was years ago, and I wouldn't let it go until he finally got another one. It wasn't immediate, either.Amazee Dayzee wrote:I assume that someone stole your candy bar?
He's gotten somewhat better. If it's marked, he won't take it. Won't stop him from asking.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Marion ate a magic transformative candy bar? Bet it was a Payday....
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
That Peanut plush is very cute. Oh, and never touch Karishad's candies. You always get cool editing ideas, D-Rock, very nice work with them!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Should've taken the Snickers, Marion. Otherwise you're just not you when you're hungry.NHWestoN wrote:Marion ate a magic transformative candy bar? Bet it was a Payday....
Thanks, man. Sometimes when the idea strikes, I strike gold.Cesco wrote:That Peanut plush is very cute. Oh, and never touch Karishad's candies. You always get cool editing ideas, D-Rock, very nice work with them!
Finally continuing the adventure here. Done over the course of several days. Work is exhausting, and often don't feel like doing too much before my shift.

Been a while.
Macabre loves scritches. He just almost never gets them.

Which leads one to wonder why he doesn't ask Mirage to give him scritches. XD

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
He may be cute, but if Mirage is the jealous type you will be risking getting eaten.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
My guess is "pride." He finds it awkward to directly ask for them, and can't help but feel like he's being talked down to when someone asks to do so. But he can't deny how much he likes how it feels.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Which leads one to wonder why he doesn't ask Mirage to give him scritches. XD
Thanks! I know he's normally shown as stoic, so being able to show off this cute side is fun.Nathan Kerbonaut wrote:But he's such a cute hellspawn Nice edit, D-Rock!
I imagine in this instance, she's taking note of Lois' technique. I've been having the idea that Mirage is completely clueless to Macabre liking scritches for a long time.Amazee Dayzee wrote:He may be cute, but if Mirage is the jealous type you will be risking getting eaten.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
So she won't be jealous if any and all sundry try it out on him? XP
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Probably not really. Unless she senses that someone is making a pass at Macabre.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
You know, I might write that sort of scenario with Anubis "Doggie" Kruger on the receiving end of the scritches. Provided that I ever get around to adapting Dekaranger. But that's aside the point.D-Rock wrote:Been a while.Macabre loves scritches. He just almost never gets them.

does he take payment for dungeon story pages in scritches?

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'd be much more willing to work on more pages if I could figure out how to streamline the process. Manually making new lines in CSP, while looks great, if rather time consuming. Been looking into methods to make it quicker, namely extracting the black lines. In Paint.NET, I got the outlines easily, but the method required using outlines without any sort of anti-aliasing, which clashes with the backgrounds. I've been evolving how it'll end, too, so I have some sort of plan.

Awwwww. I was hoping that it never ended because I liked these comics.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, there was only so much arc to work with. Maybe I'll do "one-offs" after this is done.

I am totally up for you doing one-offs because I like seeing the forum members end up getting into all sorts of unusual situations.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
one offs led to GC being Max's bookie and trying to blackmail king...

Bailey asked you to make your attempts to blackmail King not work so well...?

I think she was referring to this.
Man, this made me feel nostalgic.
