Amazee, you have my deepest sympathies and condolences; I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I would extend to you the same advice I gave Cyber in regards to keeping a journal of you favorite memories of you grandmother, it really does help.

Journaling really is a very valuable tool for healing. So, too, is drawing and sketching

Well, they'd just be for you. But I have found drawing to be therapeutic, and going back through the pictures (I've got some decades old) is reassuring if not exactly aesthetic.

Well if I tried drawing some things the results wouldn't be pretty because I am not blessed with great art skills.

Comic or cartoony is okay, too.

I mean that my artwork would be an insult to cartoony or comic artwork.

Don't be so hard on yourself! Even if it really isn't that good, I'm sure you'll get better with practice!

I probably would but I have other things I have to focus on in my life than that.

Ya know, being someone who uses an ethernet cable, it's really easy to forget how bad my school's wifi is.

Then there's days like today, where the ethernet's been dead for 10+ hours and the wifi boots me off multiple times per minute, making anything that requires a stable internet connection unusable. This includes, but is not limited to: games, videos, homework, downloads, etc. This makes me want to do terrible things to myself with my currently useless ethernet cable.

Joy: Walked up a mountain today! It's called Hartz Peak. The hike is 8km/5miles total: 4km/2.5 miles in, and then the same back again. In that time you climb over 400m/1300 feet.

Sorrow: Sore now and totally gonna feel it in the morning.

Joy: I got to see my second cousin's young children again which always makes me feel better when I am depressed and I was really sad over recent happenings.

Joys: Yesterday I had an on-and-off headache that made it feel like that day lasted for a week. I woke up earlier today and to my delight it was gone. It's easier to have a good day when your head doesn't start pounding each time you stand up from your seat.

The taxes are done and the beverage of choice is poured. Life is good.

Joy: Getting better on focusing without a specific pill. Will work on my fanfiction.

Joy: My second cousin and his wife asked me to be the godmother of their baby daughter. Of course I am also concerned because if anything happens to them I have to take her in and I can barely raise a plant, let alone a child.

That is not be being self-depreciating either.

Joy: A prize I won came in the mail today! (It's the two characters from the game Ori & The Blind Forest)

Sorrow: It's Ash Wednesday so I can't eat what I was thinking of having (Hamburger Helper).

I think they’re pretty good, just not as good as the real deal. I’d say “good quality store-bought.”

While up to you, keep in mind that unless requested, the impossible whopper is still cooked on the same surface as their regular stuff. The reason they don’t market it as “vegan.”

I would need to figure out if I can eat vegan food for lent or if it can be cooked on the same surface as they used to cook regular meat.

Do have that monitored, though. It can lead to complications when you get older.

Sorrows: A bunch of wiring and circuits shorted out and messed up Wednesday night. All of Thursday, a section of the house didn't have any power.

Joys: Electricians came in today and fixed pretty much everything, including something that shorted out and messed up while they were here!

I also managed to get some NetGear network extenders working so that I can get a wired connection in my room, and a stronger WiFi connection throughout the house. I'm glad to have an uninterrupted wired connection for my laptop now.

Annoyance: Since my racing thoughts and my obsessions in my mind about stuff distracted me until I could finally get a handle on them but by that point I had lost 6 hours of my night.

Sorrow: I had a disturbing dream that woke me up at 4 AM and I couldn't fall asleep again. I feel fine now but I'm soooo tired. Not a good way to start an exam day

That kind of makes me a bit glad I don't have dreams.

I forget mine pretty quickly … probably a good thing.

I'm sure if I was younger and still had them I would find some way to be freaked out by them and not see if there is a meaning behind them.

Sorrow: Last night, a relatively well-known and definitely well-loved furry from the Australian community passed away due to brain cancer. I met him once or twice at conventions but unfortunately never really got a chance to get to know him. He was a lovely bloke by all accounts though, and only my age too. Far too young.
