As Cinnamon scurried off, Tom and Mark headed for the Zoo office.
I didn't realize that was at the zoo. o_OKeeshah wrote:Not going to poke your twitching pointy noses into the mystery crate.?
being wheeled into the back of the stage area.

Edit: ah, I've been ignoring the fighting dogs, didn't notice they were headed his way.
Deske wrote:Well it kind of split up, and may do so again. David, Selene, Rosal and Yukon left the zoo; David and Selene went to the store, Yukon and Rosal are just kind of trying to decide what to do.
There's player characters in the audience.Civilization wrote:Ah don't worry about it we kind of had our time of going ahead of everyone in posts, go ahead and get your rest, that was amazing what you did with all those minor characters...
...What, there's no way I can do that, I'm not good enough to do that stuff without help...

Can I make it three please? I have another character.
Cinnamon's first show didn't go so well, the handler was a control freak. He liked the mild mannered Alphabites, though his unique ownership status make things complex. I don't know how far back you want to go, but since Alphabites there's been a wild raccoon (Scruff), a feral jackrabbit (Pitchpipe), and a domesticated rabbit (Samantha) introduced.Hotep the psychic wrote:sort of back what happened

Name: Fletcher O’Hare
Neighbourhood: Richardson Valley
Species: Flemish Giant Rabbit
Age: 8 human years, 28 pet years
Appearance: True to her breed, Fletcher is easily bigger than the average cat although the average dog is probably still bigger than her. Her fur is a plain, even dusty brown and is glossy and dense and her ears are upright. She’s missing her right eye and although the wound is long closed and healed so that it appears simply as a small horizontal dimple in normal furred skin where her eye used to be, she prefers to wear an eye patch simply because she’s a little self-conscious of the injury. Mind you, that’s not her only injury. Her entire right side from ear tip to toes except for her forearm and paw is covered in a variety of scars still visible through her fur. Her right ear is mostly intact although it has several notches down one side. Her collar is powder blue and her tag is a shiny brass treble cleff.
Personality/Back story: Fletcher is a doe with a buck’s name but she likes her name regardless. A former superstar, she shot to fame when a youtube video of her singing and dancing in a karaoke bar went viral. A major record company had signed a contract with her and after she’d come up with the stage name Hare O’Wynn, a pun both on the word “Heroine” and on her real name, she’d gained huge popularity in the pet world as a singer/songwriter and dancer. She performed a variety of styles of music from pop to soul to jazz and gospel and Latin and put out a number of albums under her stage name. At first she liked the fame, the publicity and the money. She liked being on stage under the lights, the screaming fans and signing autographs. But as time went on she began to feel lonely and bored. She’d not seen her friends in months and despite trying, couldn’t seem to get back in touch with them. She began to be sick of the same routines, answering the same interview questions, performing what her producers wanted to perform and tired of the lack of privacy away from work. Then, in one instant, her life was changed forever.
During a severe thunderstorm a strong tornado touched down almost directly outside her house. Having been standing at the window and watching the lightning, Fletcher barely had time to react before it hit her, only managing to turn slightly before the tornado shattered the window and pelted her with broken glass and debris. She staggered towards the storm shelter under her stairs but didn’t quite make it before the tornado tore the home apart around her, burying her under rubble. Once the storm passed, rescuers freed her and her parents from the wreckage and rushed them to the vet and hospital. After a lengthy recovery, Fletcher discovered that during her absence the record company had moved onto their next viral superstar and having seen her injuries, the company had dropped Fletcher, deciding that she was no longer marketable.
For Fletcher though, this was great news. In her own words, “Most people would say that being caught in a tornado turned their lives upside down. For me, it turned my life right-side up again. It was becoming a celebrity that turned everything upside down.” Having no desire to rebuild, the family collected what possessions friends and neighbours were able to salvage from their ruined house and moved away to Richardson Valley, looking to start afresh. Fletcher is really looking forward to being treated like a normal doe again and she can’t wait to make some real friends.
She still enjoys her music and dancing as much as ever but she knows now what’s really important in life. She still loves to perform and make people happy but she’s no longer interested in money or fame or possessions. She loves her family which has recently grown by one and she wants some real friends. She knows it’s not physical appearances but what’s inside that counts. She knows that being herself is what makes her happy, not being what some contract or some fans want her to be. And she knows that things can change in an instant so she really knows how important it is to treasure those you love and appreciate what you have. She’s a friendly, caring, genuine and honest doe but like any rabbit she’s easily startled, especially now that she’s blind on one side.
